Pray with Us! – April 2026

Image
Shalom from Jerusalem,

April does not arrive quietly this year. On the first of the month, families across Israel will gather for Seder night, retelling the story of redemption. Yet it unfolds under war, as missile fire from Iran, alongside ongoing attacks from Lebanon and now even Yemen, reaches across the country and sirens become part of daily life. Meals are prepared between alerts, and children hear the story of the Exodus while also learning what it means to run to shelter, giving new weight to the question, “Why is this night different?”

This month, alongside Passover, Israel also marks Holocaust Remembrance Day, Memorial Day for its fallen, and soon after, Independence Day. Days that carry the weight of memory, loss, sacrifice, and identity.

And yet, this season is defined by remembrance and hope, as we remember God’s mighty hand in the deliverance from Egypt, the weight of the Holocaust, and the sacrifice of those who gave their lives so that we could be here today, holding both the cost and the hope that still carries us forward.

Pray for:

  • Pray for a deeper sense of hope during Passover, that even in these days, the message of redemption would take root and strengthen hearts across the nation.
  • Pray for comfort during Holocaust Remembrance Day and Memorial Day, that those carrying loss would be met with God’s presence, peace, and strength in the midst of their grief.
  • Pray that in this season of remembrance and reflection, hearts across Israel would encounter God in a deeper way, finding renewed faith, strength, and a hope that continues to carry them forward.
  • Pray for unity within Israel, that in a time that can easily divide, there would be a deeper sense of shared purpose, compassion, and responsibility for one another across every part of society.
PRAYER REQUESTS FOR ISRAEL OPERATION LION’S ROAR

As Israel continues to face a multi-front war, the reality is no longer limited to one front. From Iran, to Hezbollah in Lebanon, to the Houthis in Yemen, alongside Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza and Judea and Samaria, threats are coming from multiple directions at the same time.

Missiles and drones continue to reach Israeli cities, shaping daily life around sirens and the need to reach shelter within seconds. Across the country, families are living between routine and urgency, with ongoing uncertainty.

Pray for:

  • For protection and peace over Israeli families living under the ongoing threat of missiles, from the northern border in Metulla to the southern city of Eilat.
  • For the safety, clarity, strength, and protection of soldiers and reservists defending on all fronts, including U.S. soldiers.
  • For comfort for the families of the fallen, that God would surround them with peace and strength in their grief.
  • For healing and restoration for the wounded, both in body and in spirit.
  • For wisdom for Israel’s and the United States’ leaders as they make critical decisions in this sensitive time.
  • For peace and calm within homes, especially for children and those carrying fear and anxiety.
  • For strength and courage for communities as they continue to navigate this ongoing season.
  • For a lasting outcome that would remove the threat and bring stability to the region
  • For protection and covering over the people of Iran, Lebanon, Gaza, and Yemen who are standing against terror groups and oppressive regimes, and for revival and true deliverance among them, alongside the people of Israel.
ANTISEMITISM WORLDWIDE

Antisemitism is rising globally, becoming more visible and increasingly accepted in some places, affecting Jewish communities across many countries. This has created growing concern, with increased vigilance in daily life and questions around safety and belonging.

Please pray:

  • For protection over Jewish communities worldwide, that they would be shielded from harm and able to live openly without fear.
  • For courage and strength for those facing rising antisemitism.
  • For truth to prevail, and for leaders and people to clearly confront and reject antisemitism in all its forms.

HFI PRAYER REQUESTS

Daily life is shaped by uncertainty and the need to remain alert. In this reality, we are focused on serving communities on the front lines through emergency war relief, standing for truth through Israel advocacy, and continuing to walk closely with believing youth, soldiers, and students. We invite you to join us in prayer as we continue strengthening lives across Israel in this time.

MORAN

Since the war with Iran began, Moran’s plans for the entire month of March shifted into war-relief efforts. Unfortunately, both the ministry’s Experience Israel tour and Moran’s speaking trip in the U.S. were canceled because of the war.

While no one knows how long this will last, Moran is committed to overseeing the ministry’s primary war-relief initiative: Operation Restoration. He continues to write important updates on the situation in Israel, publishing three times a week, as well as the weekly Scripture commentary. He also actively advocates for Israel online, via Facebook, Instagram, & Threads, which has become increasingly important as many people – believers included – are confused and disillusioned about Israel.

Please continue to pray for:

  • Strength & protection in this difficult season of war
  • Wisdom regarding the various aspects of the ministry that he oversees.
  • Guidance and inspiration as he writes the weekly Scripture commentaries & war updates, and films videos advocating for Israel.
HFI STAFF & BOARD MEMBERS

Our staff and board continue to serve with deep commitment as needs across Israel remain high and the demands of this season continue to grow. In a time marked by ongoing conflict, uncertainty, and the need for constant readiness, their work calls for wisdom, endurance, and grace. Your prayers strengthen and sustain our team in meaningful ways, and we are truly grateful as we continue walking through these significant days together.

Please pray:

  • For renewed strength, peace, and protection over every staff and board member as they pour themselves into serving others.
  • That God would swiftly bring a full-time counselor for both our NerYah youth and believing soldiers programs, to support those carrying heavy emotional burdens.
  • For the continued health and safety of our team members who have given birth, and for covering over all our team members’ families.
  • For divine wisdom and unity for our board as they make key decisions regarding upcoming projects and future planning.
  • For Bill Katz, our U.S. representative, that his travels would be safe, his ministry fruitful, and his family protected, especially amid the growing wave of antisemitism in the nations.
THREEFOLD VISION FOR EMPOWERING THE FUTURE GENERATION OF BELIEVERS

NerYah Youth Group

Please pray:

  • For youth to remain grounded, avoid negative influences, and find strength and stability amid uncertainty.
  • For the continuation of NerYah activities despite restrictions, and for creativity, flexibility, and wisdom to stay meaningful and connected to the youth.
  • For wisdom, favor, grace, and strong relationships of our leaders and volunteers that they build meaningful connections and ensure every young person feels seen, supported, and has someone to turn to.

Believing Soldiers

Please pray:

  • For protection over our soldiers operating across multiple fronts and defending Israel’s home front. Also, for security, strong faith, and a clear sense of God’s presence in every mission.
  • For the families of soldiers and reservists, for strength, comfort, and peace during this time. Also, for resilience and encouragement as they face uncertainty and the absence of loved ones.
  • For swift physical recovery for the wounded, and for emotional healing for all those affected by the war.
  • For our ongoing connection with the soldiers, including wisdom, creativity, and patience to remain a consistent source of encouragement and support despite challenging conditions.

Believing University Students/Discharged Soldiers

Please pray:

  • For focus, perseverance, and wisdom for students in this demanding season of their studies, that they would remain steady and find clarity and strength amid uncertainty.
  • For students serving in reserve duty while studying, that God give them strength, balance, and favor with their institutions, and help in closing academic gaps.
  • For guidance in decisions and clarity, purpose, and stability for recently discharged soldiers as they transition into civilian life, and for in their next steps.
    MEDIA PROJECTS: FIGHTING FOR TRUTH

The story being told about Israel is often shaped far from the realities on the ground. Context is stripped away, facts are distorted, and louder narratives quickly take hold. In this climate, silence is not an option. Hope for Israel remains committed to producing clear, truthful, Scripture-centered content that reflects the real lives, challenges, and faith of people in Israel today. As misinformation spreads and hostility grows, this work is not only important, it is urgent, rooted in truth and grounded in faith.

    Please pray:

    • For the protection of our media platforms and an end to ongoing cyberattacks.
    • For energy, wisdom, and focus for our media team as they meet increased demands.
    • For God’s guidance in responding with grace and truth to critics and misinformation.
    • For a grassroots movement of Israel advocates to rise across social platforms.
    • For insight and creativity in developing content that educates, encourages, and changes hearts.
    • For spiritual protection over the media team and their families.
    • For the successful, timely development of our new website, both in design and functionality.
    MINISTRY FINANCES

We are grateful for God’s faithful provision throughout this difficult season. Even in a fragile ceasefire, economic instability, and growing ministry demands, we have seen His hand sustaining our core operations.

At the same time, the scope of our work has expanded dramatically from emergency aid and community restoration to national advocacy and outreach. The need is greater than ever, and we are trusting the Lord to meet these needs fully so we can continue serving Israel with integrity, consistency, and compassion.

    Please pray:

    • For God’s continued provision to sustain both our daily operations and long-term projects.
    • For wise financial stewardship across every department, especially as we respond to urgent needs and growing responsibilities.
    • For new donors and partners who will stand with us and invest in Israel’s future.
    COMMUNITY RESTORATION INITIATIVE

Hope for Israel’s most significant initiatives are currently underway: Operation Restoration & Operation Doors of Hope. Both projects are the biggest financial commitments we’ve undertaken to date.

    Please pray:

    • For abundant provision to fully fund this critical work of restoration and renewal.
    • For wisdom and strategic partnerships as we coordinate with local leaders and families.
    • For hope to be restored in these devastated communities, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
    • For the strength of the teams involved in logistics, counseling, and construction that they would be protected and sustained
      Tours

One of the main objectives of our tour operation is to cover ministry overhead, so that a higher percentage of donations can go to projects. We are excited for the upcoming Greece tour: Footsteps of the Apostle Paul in Greece (May 22- June 2, 2026); and an Israel Solidarity Tour (August 27 – September 7, 2026)

      Please continue to pray:

      • Wisdom regarding current & future tour operations.
      • The HFI Tours to be full!
      • Other groups that are planning tours through us to materialize and for our tour operation to regain traction in 2026.

We remain committed to standing with the people of Israel in this time of war, for truth, for strength, and for the next generation being shaped in the midst of these defining days. Your prayers and faithful support sustain this work in real and tangible ways. Thank you for partnering with Hope for Israel as we continue to serve with clarity, compassion, and hope in this critical season.

      IN HIS SERVICE,
THE HOPE FOR ISRAEL PRAYER TEAM
