“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35

The Body of Messiah in the Land is a diverse community of people from many corners of the world who seek to honor the God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob with their lives as a fulfillment of prophecy in these days. (Isaiah 56: 6-8) As followers of Messiah Yeshua, we are commanded to love our fellow believers. But love is an action! We cannot just say we love one another if we do not show it. Our investment in the believers in the Land is a tangible way to strengthen and edify the Body of Messiah in Israel, while extending His hand of mercy to those who suffer for their faith.

Persecuted Believers

It is a growing reality that Jewish and Arab believers suffer for their faith in Israel. In addition to the possibility of harassment, losing friends, family, and even jobs due to their faith, some believers also experience increasing occurrences of violence. Hope for Israel gives active support to persecuted believers through financial aid in cases of damaged property and loss of income as well as emotional and spiritual support to strengthen and encourage them to press on in the face of persecution.

Many believers in Israel – Jew and Arab alike – struggle to survive. The cost of living in Israel is extremely high, and especially burdens middle and lower-income families. We want to help fellow believers who struggle to make ends meet, regardless of their background. Whether buying groceries, helping to pay rent or utility bills, or purchasing school supplies & textbooks, we are giving tangible expressions of Yeshua’s love to our brothers and sisters in faith.

  • The Bombing at the Ortiz Home in Ariel

It was just before the holiday of Purim in March, 2008. Families throughout Israel were receiving traditional festive packages for the holiday, filled with candies and home baked goods. David & Leah Ortiz were not home at the time, but their youngest son, Ami, was and so he opened it to get one of the goodies inside. Little did he know that inside was a bomb, which Read More

  • Hand of Mercy to Single Mothers

There are numerous single mothers in the Body of Messiah who struggle to provide for their families’ basic needs. The high cost of living in Israel makes matters worse. For the past few years, we have come alongside these precious women to let them know they’re not alone and have people who love them and advocate for them. To that end, we have provided for basic needs such as diapers, wipes, baby formula, and food, to more complex things such as kitchen appliances and help with rent & utility bills.
