Operation Restoration – Northern Israel

Update on Operation Restoration – Northern Israel

Thank you for continuing to stand with us through Operation Restoration.

There is currently a fragile ceasefire in the north, but the situation has not stabilized. The reality on the ground remains uncertain, and communities are still living under the shadow of what may come next. This is not a return to normal. It is a pause, and one that could shift quickly.

Over the past weeks, your support has enabled us to help close to 250 families, including elderly residents and families with children who have special needs, move out of high-risk areas into safe accommodations. For many of them, this was the first time in days, sometimes longer, that they were able to rest, to feel a measure of security, and to breathe without the immediate pressure of sirens and incoming fire.

This is why Operation Restoration is still active.

We are continuing this work not only in response to what families have already faced, but also as we prepare for the possibility of renewed escalation in the north. In this reality, preparation means being ready to move quickly, to provide immediate relocation when needed, and to ensure that the most vulnerable are not left exposed if the situation deteriorates again.

Your support allows us to:
• Continue providing temporary safe stays for families in times of urgent need
• Bring additional families to safety as the situation requires
• Assist vulnerable families with immediate relocation during escalation

Providing a safe, full-board stay for a family for several nights costs approximately $1,750:
• $1,750 supports one family
• $3,500 supports two families
• $5,250 supports three families

This is not about comfort. It is about removing people from immediate danger and giving them a short window of safety, rest, and stability in the midst of crisis. What you have already made possible is real. Close to 250 families have already experienced that impact directly. The question now is whether we can continue to respond with the same immediacy when the next round of escalation comes.

Thank you for standing with us in a way that translates into action when it is needed most.

With sincere thanks,
Moran and the Hope for Israel Team
