Feeding People in Need

“He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, but he who is gracious to the needy honors Him.” Proverbs 14:31

Twice a year, during the high holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Pesach, we initiate the “Operation Hesed” (Grace) project to provide food packages for families in Israel facing financial hardships. These holidays are two of the most significant ones celebrated in Israel, centering around a huge feast with immediate and extended family and friends. However, there are many families in Israel that because of their financial struggles are unable to contribute to the festivities, placing an even greater burden on them.
This is where we come in! In our efforts to build God’s kingdom, we cannot forget that a key part of honoring God is to also be gracious to those in need. It is an immense privilege to help our neighbors in need and to bring glory to God in the process.

A main goal of this initiative is to connect struggling families living in the Land with those around the world who want to bless them! To that end, we invite anyone who desires to partner with us in this special project to do so throughout the year.

In addition to our “Operation Hesed” project, we do provide grocery gift certificates throughout the year to families who may need some extended help. Our goal is to relieve some stress that so many parents are under to provide this essential need of food for their families.
