Hizbullah Troops Increasing in South Lebanon: The presence of Lebanese Army troops has decreased steadily lately, and Hizbullah troops are increasing along the border of Israel. The UNIFIL peacekeepers patrol the buffer zone between Israel and Lebanon and have reported more confrontation with terrorist Hizbullah troops, who are not allowed to be in the area according to the UN Security Council Resolution 1701. This is a concerning move for Israel, as it could mean a terrorist attack on Israel from Hizbullah is on the horizon. Please pray for God’s hand to intervene in this situation, and as always, for His continued protection over Israel. Please also pray that the UN will do its job effectively in the buffer zone, and not cower to Hizubllah terrorists. Lastly, please pray that Israel will be prepared for whatever Hizbullah is planning. For more, see Hizbullah Presence Increases
Turkish Delegation Coming to Israel: The highest level Turkish delegation to visit Israel in three years will arrive in Jerusalem next week to discuss Israeli compensation for the 8 Turks who died on the Mavri Marmara flotilla. The ship illegally crossed the blockade on Gaza and when Israeli commandos boarded the ship, they were attacked. Since the incident, Turkey broke all diplomatic ties with Israel. PM Netanyahu apologized for the incident after President Obama visited Israel in March, and Turkey is now demanding financial compensation to the families of the deceased. Please pray for God’s favor in this situation, that Israel would not be unfairly vilified and forced to pay an exorbitant amount in order to resume ties with Turkey. Please also pray that Turkey would be cautious in their dealings with Israel so as to not bring God’s judgment upon itself. For more, see Turkish Delegation
Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as Israel is facing uncertain times; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah. Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.
Thank you for praying! Shabbat Shalom…
