Shavuot:  Israel will commemorate the giving of the Torah at Mt. Sinai at sundown Tuesday night.  This is also the festival in which the earliest followers of Yeshua received the gift of the Holy Spirit.  It is a time that we celebrate God’s abundant blessings, and His provision in our lives.  Please pray for a peaceful celebration in Israel, and for Jewish people throughout the world.  Please also pray that this will be a season of the Holy Spirit’s outpouring to many Jews who do not yet believe, that they will receive revelation of Messiah!

Elderly Jewish Man Attacked by Arab Man in Jerusalem:  An Arab man broke a chair over an elderly Jewish man’s head as the man was walking to evening prayers.  The victim lives in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, and his family has been victims of previous terrorist attacks.  He is recovering from his wounds, but this is yet another troubling sign that things are heating up between Arabs and Jews within Israel once again.  Please pray for the peace of Jerusalem!  Please pray for true peace through Messiah Yeshua, which is our only hope for lasting peace between Jewish and Arab people.  Lastly, please pray for swift justice and quick healing.  For more, see Attack in Old City

Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as Israel is facing uncertain times; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah.  Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.

Thank you for praying and standing with Israel! Hag Sameach!
