Syria’s Chemical Weapons Could Trigger Israeli Strike: Vice Premier Shalom warned that any sign of movement of Syrian chemical weapons could trigger an Israeli strike. A recent meeting was convened among Security Council members to discuss the status of chemical weapons in Syria and the Civil War there. Though no imminent threat exists, Israel is prepared for the worst. Please pray for Israel’s continued safety in this time of regional instability. Please also pray for those in Syria to know His peace and to hold onto the Rock of Ages during this turmoil. Additionally, please pray for wisdom to be given to Israel’s leaders as they make crucial choices for Israel. For more, see Syria Chemical Weapons

Egyptian Riots Result in at Least 30 Deaths: Hundreds of Egyptians rioted, resulting in over 30 deaths, after the Egyptian government sentenced 21 people to death for their responsibility in a soccer stampede. This is only the latest in 2 days of violence that has left at least 42 people dead, marking the Egyptian uprising’s second anniversary. Many are also protesting the Muslim Brotherhood’s takeover of the government and human rights abuses. Please pray for Egyptians to come to the knowledge of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Please also pray for Egyptian believers to be a light in the darkness of their nation. Lastly, please pray that the violence does not provide a platform for violence against Israel. Negotiations Continue for Israeli Coalition: Negotiations are continuing for the formation of a coalition that will represent Israel in the government. This is a very complicated process with a lot of bargaining and maneuvering for positions. Please pray that Netanyahu and those making coalition decisions will do what is right for Israel rather than only seeking interests in the process. Please also pray that those with integrity and justice would be given a place in the coalition and that all such decisions would be made in an honest way. Lastly, please pray for Israel’s next government to have wisdom in this crucial period. For more, see Bargaining for Next Coalition

Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as Israel is facing uncertain times; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah.  Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.

Thank you for praying and standing with Israel! Shevuah Tov…
