“For such a time as this …” – Part 2

“For such a time as this …” – Part 2

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14

As you read this – at this very moment, even – thousands, if not millions, of Muslims from all around the world are preparing to march or have started to march toward Jerusalem. I believe that once again this event, like many others, is a mirror of what is to come in our near future as yet another fulfillment of prophecy from the Word of the one and only TRUE God.

This event is yet another example that man-made peace in this region is unachievable.  Jerusalem is the center of the world; Jerusalem is God’s City; and Jerusalem is the Capital of the State of Israel. Peace in this area will not be possible because the Jewish people will not willingly divide Jerusalem again, and the Muslim world will not stop the aggression against Israel until they have Jerusalem.

As believers, we know that there is a great Spiritual war being waged around Jerusalem; God had, has and will always have a plan for Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the place that God chose to put His name on.  Jerusalem is the city that our Lord will come back to when He returns.  God’s enemy, Satan, knows this and therefore will continue to fight against God’s plan for this city.

While we know that God’s ultimate victory is promised, the reality is that we cannot stand still and do nothing about what’s happening. As I am writing this, I am saddened by the fact that, while many in the world are raising a very loud voice against the truth, against God’s people, against His city and ultimately, against God Himself, the majority of the Body of Messiah are choosing to sit quietly and do nothing about it.

It is time for the Body of Messiah to make a decision: are we with God or against God?  This is not oversimplifying the issue.  It is bringing it to very clear, understandable terms.  This blog is meant to challenge those who claim that they are with God; it is time to show our commitment to Him through action. It’s time to make a loud statement of the truth for the sake of the Truth.

We are called for such a time as this!

Shabbat Shalom,

Moran

  1. Last night I prayed after every hour starting 12 0’clock till 6 0’clock this morning. I will continue to pray.
God’s hand is and always will be on Israel. I don’t see any peaceful sign from the Palestinian’s. My question is, does the Palestinians don’t read the Bible? They are not supposed to take each other’s borders. That’s why I think that they will not succeed in this.
And have they not the same Bible? In the Bible the borders are clear mentioned. May be the group of the Messiah can make this public in a way that all the world can see and read. There must be a way to bring this truth to light for everybody. I prayed that their intention will turn out to be in benefit of Israel. God love Israel and so do I. Shalom.

  2. Certainly, one should do something, against any needless aggression of G_d’s enemies on G_d’s people. Aggression against Jews and Christians are getting provocative and infuriative. The case of Esther can and may as well hit us, we Christians, home. The difference is, Esther decided to move and speak for her people. While these days, majority of Christians play apathetic. Many choose individual comfort zones, others settle not to prioritize the faith, consequently the L_rd. So sad.

Let’s disseminate facts and the truth, the best possible way we can share to promote awareness of the truth among people within our reach, in our cities and towns.

To G_d be the glory, so help us L_rd, indeed. Amen.
