Erdogan Calls Zionism ‘Crime Against Humanity’: Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Zionism a “crime against humanity” on Wednesday at the Fifth Alliance of Civilizations Forum in Vienna. He said that Islamaphobia should be considered a crime against humanity in the same way that anti-Semitism, Zionism and fascism should. The Conference was attended by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and other dignitaries. Please pray that eyes would be opened to see that such comments are, in fact, anti-Semitic as Israel is the only home of the Jewish people. Please pray that wisdom would be given to leaders there and that some would have the courage to stand against the trend of being anti-Israel. Lastly, please pray for God to continue to protect Israel from those who seek to harm her. For more, see Erdogan Comments
Jerusalem Prepares for Marathon: Jerusalem is preparing to host the world-famous Jerusalem marathon. Around 20,000 people are expected to participate despite calls from the Palestinian Authority to boycott. Please pray for safety during the marathon. Please also pray that this would be an opportunity for many to see Jerusalem in a new light, rather than only what the media portrays. For more, see Jerusalem Marathon
West Comes to “Agreement” With Iran: Western nations have agreed to ease sanctions against Iran in exchange for Iran suspending uranium enrichment. Western nations also dropped the demand that Iran close its nuclear enrichment plant at Fordow. They also agreed to allow Iran to keep a small amount of uranium for medical uses. Please pray that such measures will be effective and that Iran will not continue to work towards a nuclear weapon. Please also pray that leaders would act with wisdom towards Iran and not only appease but work towards a just solution that does not endanger Israel or other enemies of Iran. Lastly, please pray for the enemy to supernaturally thwart any plans to harm Israel or others who Iran may target. For more, see Iran Agreement
Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as Israel is facing uncertain times; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah. Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.
Thank you for praying and standing with Israel! Shabbat Shalom…
