Livni to Join Coalition as Justice Minister and Head of Peace Negotiations: Israeli center left politician, Tzipi Livni was the first person announced to be in the Netanyahu led government. Livni will be the head of the Justice Department and will also lead peace negotiations with the Palestinian Authority. The rest of the government must be decided in the upcoming weeks. However, Netanyahu has found this a challenge due to several parties unwillingness to compromise on fundamental issues. Please pray that Netanyahu and those making coalition decisions will do what is right for Israel rather than only seeking interests in the process. Please also pray that those with integrity and justice would be given a place in the coalition and that all such decisions would be made in an honest way. Lastly, please pray for Israel’s next government to have wisdom in this crucial period. For more, see Livni to Join Government and Detangling Israel’s Election Results
