Shalom from Jerusalem,
As June begins, Israel is entering summer with a heavy sense of uncertainty. The school year is coming to an end, children are preparing for vacation, and families are trying to make plans for the weeks ahead. Yet even the simple thought of summer feels fragile. What should be a season of rest, travel, camps, and family time is unfolding under the shadow of renewed tension in the north and the knowledge that life in Israel can change in a single moment.
Across the country, parents are trying to give their children a sense of normalcy while quietly carrying the weight of questions they cannot answer. Will the coming weeks remain calm? Will families be able to rest, or will plans once again be interrupted by alerts, shelters, and sudden security updates? For many Israelis, the start of summer does not bring relief as much as it brings a deep breath, a cautious hope, and the familiar awareness that uncertainty is still part of daily life.
That strain is especially felt in northern Israel, where communities near the Lebanese border continue to live with the threat of rockets, drones, and sudden alerts. As families look toward the months ahead, Israel stands between the desire for ordinary summer days and the reality that the situation can still shift without warning.
Pray for:
- For families across Israel trying to plan for the summer while still living with uncertainty, that they would experience peace, stability, and moments of real rest.
- For children, teenagers, and students finishing another difficult school year shaped by war, disruption, and emotional strain.
- For wisdom for Israel’s leaders and security officials as the region remains sensitive and unpredictable.
- For believing communities across Israel, that they would continue bringing hope, truth, encouragement, and practical help during this ongoing season.
PRAYER REQUESTS FOR ISRAEL
OPERATION LION’S ROAR
Northern Israel is still living through a “quiet war,” with communities facing ongoing rocket and drone attacks while soldiers continue being killed along the Lebanese border amid repeated ceasefire violations.
Israeli forces remain active around Gaza and throughout Judea and Samaria as ongoing security threats continue emerging. Hamas terrorists are still attempting to approach the Gaza security fence, while concerns over planned attacks, weapons smuggling, and terror activity remain active across Judea and Samaria.
At the same time, the wider regional situation remains unstable. Negotiations between the United States and Iran continue, but Iran’s nuclear ambitions, regional aggression, and support for terror proxies remain unresolved. Across Israel, there is a growing awareness that the current calm remains fragile and could shift quickly again.
Please pray:
- For protection over families and communities in northern Israel living under ongoing rocket fire, drone threats, and constant uncertainty.
- For soldiers and reservists serving along the northern border, and across multiple fronts, they would receive strength, protection, endurance, and encouragement.
- For IDF soldiers working to stop Hamas terrorists attempting to cross the Gaza border fence and threaten Israeli troops and communities and in Judea and Samaria as they work to prevent terror attacks and protect Israeli civilians from real and immediate threats.
- For comfort for grieving families and healing for those wounded physically, emotionally, and spiritually during this prolonged season of war.
- For any diplomatic efforts to genuinely reduce the threat facing Israel and prevent a larger regional war from erupting again.
- For people across the Middle East living under terror, repression, and instability, including many inside Iran, that they would be protected and strengthened.
DIVISION AMONG THE ISRAELI PEOPLE
Political tension inside Israel remains high, especially as the country prepares for upcoming elections that could shift the government and deepen public debate. Many Israelis are carrying growing exhaustion from prolonged instability, reserve duty, economic strain, and uncertainty about what comes next. Yet even amid frustration and division, communities across the country continue supporting soldiers and one another through this difficult season.
Please pray:
- For wisdom for Israel’s leaders as they navigate security decisions, regional threats, and growing internal pressure.
- For unity within Israeli society during a season marked by exhaustion, political tension, and emotional strain.
- For wisdom, calm, and discernment across Israel as the election approaches, and that the outcome and decisions made in this season would serve the good, stability, and future of the nation as a whole.
ANTISEMITISM WORLDWIDE
Across many parts of the world, Jewish communities continue facing growing hostility in public spaces, on campuses, online, and in everyday life. Antisemitic harassment, intimidation, and physical attacks have become increasingly visible, leaving many Jewish people carrying a deeper sense of pressure, isolation, and concern for their safety.
Please pray:
- For those experiencing intimidation or targeting, that they would be strengthened and safeguarded in real time.
- For authorities to respond quickly and effectively where threats or incidents occur.

HFI PRAYER REQUESTS
Israel is still living with the aftershocks of war. Soldiers remain on alert, border communities remain vulnerable, and many young people are carrying the emotional weight of conflict as they transition back into routine. Hope for Israel continues to support believing soldiers, believing youth, families, and communities directly affected by the war while bringing truth and clarity during a difficult season. We invite you to stand with us in prayer for Israel during these days.
MORAN
Moran had a wonderful time hosting the ministry’s “Footsteps of Paul” Greece tour last month. It was a blessed time of fellowship and growing in the word as the group traced the ministry of the apostle Paul in various places throughout Greece.
This month, Moran and the senior management will present a special scholarship in memory of Yaron Lischinsky z”l to a believing university student who has excelled academically. Yaron was murdered in Washington D.C. in May 2025 outside the Capital Jewish Museum just for being Jewish. He was a part of our NerYah believing youth group, believing soldiers’ group, and then went on to excel in his university studies. His commitment to excellence in everything he did left a lasting impression on so many. We are humbled to honor Yaron’s memory in a powerful way.
In addition, Moran continues to write important updates on the situation in Israel, publishing twice a week, as well as the weekly Scripture commentary. He also continues to actively advocate for Israel online, via Facebook, Instagram, & Threads, which has become increasingly important as many people (believers included) are confused and disillusioned about Israel. The opposition he faces is immense, so we would be grateful for your prayers.
Please continue to pray:
- For strength & protection in this challenging season of ever-present military conflict.
- For wisdom regarding the various aspects of the ministry that he oversees.
- For guidance and inspiration as he writes the weekly Scripture commentaries & war updates, and films videos advocating for Israel.
HFI STAFF & BOARD MEMBERS
The needs across Israel remain ongoing, and our staff and board continue serving each day faithfully as the situation across the country remains fragile and unpredictable. This season continues to require wisdom, endurance, and sensitivity as new challenges continue to emerge. We are deeply grateful for your prayers and support, which strengthen and sustain this work as we continue serving throughout Israel.
Please pray:
- For renewed strength, peace, and protection over every staff and board member as they pour themselves into serving others.
- That God would swiftly bring a full-time counselor for both our NerYah youth and believing soldiers programs, to support those carrying heavy emotional burdens.
- For covering over all our team members’ families.
- For divine wisdom and unity for our board as they make key decisions regarding upcoming projects and future planning.
- For Bill Katz, our U.S. representative, that his travels would be safe, his ministry fruitful, and his family protected, especially amid the growing wave of antisemitism in the nations.
THREEFOLD VISION FOR EMPOWERING THE FUTURE GENERATION OF BELIEVERS
NerYah - Believing Youth Group
Please pray:
- For the youth as they finish the school year, that they would feel encouraged, protected, and rooted in their faith as they enter the summer months.
- For the preparations and planning of the summer programs, that this would be a meaningful and impactful summer for the youth involved.
- For wisdom and clear vision for the upcoming year of the NerYah youth group, and for the right leaders and young people to join and be strengthened through it.
Believing Soldiers
Please pray:
- For the protection and safety of our soldiers on the roads, on their bases, and wherever they are serving, that they would return home safely, whole in both body and spirit.
- For soldiers and reservists carrying the weight of this long season of war, especially those moving between home and the front lines, that they would receive renewed strength and purpose.
- For discharged soldiers still carrying the weight of combat and military service, that they would find rest, healing, and support as they transition back into daily life.
Believing University Students/Discharged Soldiers
Please pray:
- For students balancing reserve duty alongside their studies, that they would have clarity of mind and the ability to catch up where needed.
- For students facing important exams, assignments, and projects, that they would fully use the gifts, talents, and abilities God has given them.
- For students struggling socially or financially because of this season, that they would experience stability, belonging, and confidence that they are not being left behind.
MEDIA PROJECTS: FIGHTING FOR TRUTH
As war, misinformation, and growing global pressure surround Israel, the battle over truth has become its own front line. Headlines and narratives spread within minutes, often far removed from the reality on the ground. In this atmosphere, Hope for Israel continues sharing from inside the country itself, bringing forward the people, communities, and faith behind the headlines while holding to truth in the midst of growing confusion and distortion.
Please pray:
- For the protection of our media platforms and an end to ongoing cyberattacks.
- For energy, wisdom, and focus for our media team as they meet increased demands.
- For God’s guidance in responding with grace and truth to critics and misinformation.
- For a grassroots movement of Israel advocates to rise across social platforms.
- For insight and creativity in developing content that educates, encourages, and changes hearts.
- For the right person to join us in content creation in promoting Israeli advocacy and in communicating the truth.
- For spiritual protection over the media team and their families.
- For the successful, timely development of our new website, both in design and functionality.
MINISTRY FINANCES
We are deeply grateful for God’s steady provision through this difficult season. Even in the midst of a fragile ceasefire, economic strain, and growing demands, His hand has sustained our work and allowed us to continue moving forward.
At the same time, the scope of what we are doing has grown significantly, from emergency aid and community support to national advocacy and outreach. The need has not slowed. We continue to trust the Lord to provide what is needed so we can keep serving the people of Israel with faithfulness, consistency, and care.
Please pray:
- For God’s continued provision to sustain both our daily operations and long-term projects.
- For wise financial stewardship across every department, especially as we respond to urgent needs and growing responsibilities.
- For new donors and partners who will stand with us and invest in Israel’s future.
COMMUNITY RESTORATION INITIATIVE
Hope for Israel’s most significant initiatives are currently underway: Operation Restoration & Operation Doors of Hope. Both projects are the biggest financial commitments we’ve undertaken to date.
Please pray:
- For abundant provision to fully fund this critical work of restoration and renewal.
- For wisdom and strategic partnerships as we coordinate with local leaders and families.
- For hope to be restored in these devastated communities, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
- For the strength of the teams involved in logistics, counseling, and construction that they would be protected and sustained.
Tours
One of the main objectives of our tour operation is to cover ministry overhead, so that a higher percentage of donations can go to projects. While most tours for 2026 have been cancelled due to the tenuous security situation in the Middle East, we are hopeful that our last tour for the year will fill up: Israel Solidarity Tour (August 27 – September 7, 2026).
Please continue to pray:
- For wisdom regarding current & future tour operations.
- For the HFI Tours to be full!
- For other groups that are planning tours through us to materialize, and for our tour operation to regain traction in the latter part of the year.
As Israel continues walking through a difficult and uncertain season, Hope for Israel remains committed to standing with the people of this land wherever needs continue to emerge. Thank you for your prayers, support, and partnership as we continue serving across the country in the midst of what is still unfolding.
IN HIS SERVICE,
THE HOPE FOR ISRAEL PRAYER TEAM
