Yom Kippur – Day of Atonement

At sundown, Israel will stop and enter Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. It is the most solemn day for Jewish people, where people fast both food and water for 25 hours, and pray for the forgiveness of sins. Tensions in the area are high as we enter Yom Kippur, and we pray for a peaceful and safe observance for all. Please also pray that Israelis will recognize their Messiah during this special time. Gmar Hatima Tovah!
