Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, begins Sunday, Sept. 27th, at sundown. Jewish people all over the world collectively seek forgiveness from God and from one another through fasting & praying. This year, we in Israel will observe Yom Kippur in the shadow of the coronavirus. Synagogues, which are traditionally packed with worshippers, will be limited to 20 people outdoors. We are also expecting a possible heat wave this year, so outdoor prayers will be all the more challenging. Please pray that the people of Israel will collectively seek the salvation of the LORD, found in Yeshua the Messiah! Please also pray for protection from terror attacks during this special time. Lastly, please pray for a miraculous stop to the rapid spread of the coronavirus, which has reached an troubling infection rate of 13% in Israel!
