I am so grateful for your partnership in blessing Israeli families as we recently celebrated Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

For over a decade, through our project “Operation Hesed”, we have come alongside Israeli families who have fallen on hard times and struggle to make ends meet. We bless families with generous grocery vouchers so that they can celebrate this biblical holiday in abundance and with dignity. This year, more families find themselves in tough financial situations. Whether still recovering from the economic slowdown over the past few years, or rising inflation, many families simply cannot finish the month and experience food insecurity.

Through your partnership, we blessed over 350 families with grocery vouchers for the Rosh Hashanah holiday! These families hail from all over the country and come from diverse backgrounds. Many of them are single-parent families who find it particularly tough to put food on the table right now. I want to share a touching response we received from one single mother:

Thank you! I am barely making it as a single mother, working multiple jobs. I do not take it for granted that you remembered me and my two children – it is above and beyond what I could have hoped for. Thank you for your love and support.
