Shalom from Jerusalem,
This year, we celebrated the Passover holiday under the shadow of a challenging war that began seven months ago on October 7th, the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles. Passover was a very emotionally charged holiday for us as a nation as we understood how fragile our freedom and security really is. The irony this year is that we observed a holiday that marks the redemption of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt while 132 men, women, children, and elderly are being held captive by Hamas under harsh conditions for over seven months!
Despite the difficulties that accompanied these days, many families celebrated the Passover holiday around a table full of festive and traditional foods, conducted the Passover Seder evening, and fulfilled the commandment of "And you shall tell your son..." (Exodus 13:8). This commandment calls upon us to tell the story of the Israelites' exodus from Egypt to our children and to remember the wonders and miracles that God performed for the people of Israel.
Thanks to your generous donation, we initiated the "Operation Hessed" project again this year and distribute food vouchers to hundreds of families, including many bereaved families, families with many children, lone soldiers and many more. By doing so, we enabled them to hold the Passover Seder evening with a celebratory and dignified meal.
This year, we saw a greater demand for help, and thank God, we responded wholeheartedly and assisted more families than we had anticipated! Here are some of the testimonies we received:
"Many thanks to the Hope for Israel organization for the holiday support! We do not take it for granted and are so grateful. May God bless you and all your endeavors."
"Dear Moran and Hope for Israel, I wanted to thank you and bless you on behalf of the congregation. Thank you for the support, encouragement, and partnership over the years."
These are just a few of the numerous heartfelt testimonies we received. We thank you for your support and partnership in this project and for the opportunity to bring joy and strengthen Israeli families.
Thank you for entrusting your offering to Hope for Israel. Your partnership means a great deal to me, my team, and the many people who are blessed by the ministry’s work. May we continue to be a light and a blessing to the people of Israel during this dark and difficult time.

I thank the Lord that I am able to help in a small way.
Praying all the time for the hostages and their families. I can’t even imagine what they’re all going through… extremely heart wrenching.
God bless you in the work you are doing, Moran.
