Shalom! Greetings in the new calendar year from Jerusalem!
We are entering the spring season in Israel, which is always a reminder to me of God's faithfulness in our lives.
I want to thank you for partnering with us to bless the people of Israel. At the end of February, we hosted our annual women's meeting, which brings together young women from all three parts of our Threefold Vision program — NerYah, Soldiers, & University Students. In all, there were around 40 young women who attended and it was an incredible evening of worship, prayer, fellowship, and encouragement!
Part of what is so wonderful about this meeting in particular is that it allows for many of the women to use their gifts to edify others. Some led worship and shared testimonies, while others donated their time to cook a special meal for the evening. Others used their gifts of creativity and design to create a beautiful meeting place for the event and special gifts for the women who attended. I was personally so blessed to see this amazing picture of the different parts of the Body functioning in reality, the way that Paul encouraged us to in 1 Corinthians 12.
One young woman in her mid twenties came up to my wife at the end of the evening and told her, "I just want to really thank you all for how much you've changed my life. I realized tonight that you've been there for me and guided me since I was 13! Your vision for the young believers in Israel is making a real difference." This was such an encouragement to my wife and me, and I want to pass it along to you because you are an important part of what we are doing in Israel!
Thank you for partnering with us and entrusting your offering to Hope for Israel as we help to raise up and strengthen the young women in Israel. We hope that this generation will grow to be true women of valor that Proverbs 31 speaks of. May the Lord continue to strengthen our partnership, and may you know His abundant blessing in your lives!
