Thank You Letter – June 2026

Dear friends and partners,

In May 2025, Yaron Lischinsky and his girlfriend, Sarah Milgrim, were murdered in a terrorist attack outside an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. The attack received international attention and shocked people around the world.

For me, however, this was far more than a news story. It was the loss of a young man I had known since his teenage years, someone whose life had touched mine and the lives of countless others. It was the loss of a friend, a former volunteer, and a remarkable individual whose future held so much promise.

I first met Yaron as a teenager in our NerYah youth group. Throughout the years, I had the privilege of watching him grow into an exceptional young man who pursued excellence in every area of his life while remaining committed to serving others. Whether through his academic achievements, professional accomplishments, or personal character, Yaron consistently demonstrated the values that we seek to instill in the next generation.

Although Yaron's life was cut short, his influence was not. We are determined that the example he set will continue to inspire others for years to come.

On June 12, 2026, we held a special event in Yaron's honor. During the gathering, we awarded a special scholarship in his name and presented Certificates of Excellence to outstanding students who demonstrated both academic achievement and strong personal character. Yaron's parents joined us for the event, along with his former supervisor, Eliav Benjamin, Israel's Deputy Ambassador to the United States. Together, we remembered and honored Yaron's life while encouraging a new generation to pursue the same excellence, integrity, and commitment to serving others that characterized his life.

Your partnership made this event possible.

Because of your support, we are able to invest in young people throughout Israel, encourage future leaders, and create opportunities for the next generation to pursue excellence while serving others. Your generosity also allowed us to share with Yaron's family the lasting impact he had through Hope for Israel and the legacy that continues because of the life he lived.

Thank you for standing with us during both the difficult and the meaningful moments. Thank you for helping us honor Yaron's life and legacy. Most importantly, thank you for helping us continue investing in the next generation of Israelis who will carry these values forward.

In His service,
Moran Rosenblit
