Thank you so much for your generous support of Hope for Israel. Your partnership means the world to us, especially in supporting our outreach to believing university students.

This academic year has been incredibly challenging. The war that began on October 7th brought significant changes to our students’ lives and studies. Many universities delayed the start of the academic year, and numerous students were called up for reserve duty, leaving behind their studies and loved ones to defend our country.

The delay in starting classes meant students had to learn a lot of material in a shorter period, which added immense pressure. The ongoing conflict and uncertainty only increased their stress. Some of our team members and their spouses were also called up for duty. Yet, through it all, we thank God for the strength to support and encourage our students.

Despite these challenges, we are immensely proud of our students who persevered and completed the academic year. Many served in reserve duty for months, enduring long separations from their spouses. We are grateful for God's strength and grace that saw them through.

Two students shared particularly touching testimonies that I'd like to relay to you:

"This year was especially hard because of the war. I was called up for reserve duty and served for about 160 days. Balancing my studies and service was tough, but by God's grace, I managed. I served at a base close to my campus, with understanding commanders who accommodated my academic needs. My university also supported reservists in every way possible. Thanks to God’s grace, I completed the first semester successfully. I want to thank all the donors who supported us, allowing us to focus on our studies without worrying about financial issues. “Thank you from the depths of my heart. Your support during this difficult time provided much-needed relief and assistance. The practical help, the special meetings, the prayers, and the messages were a significant blessing to me and my family. You are truly people of action, and we thank God for you.”
