Thank you for partnering with Hope for Israel!  I am personally grateful for your partnership as we empower the future generation of believers in Israel.

The NerYah believing youth group is the first stage of our threefold vision for equipping and empowering the future generation in Israel. This youth group (ages 14-18) is comprised of youth from various congregations in the Jerusalem area, and they meet once a week in downtown Jerusalem. It offers these youth a chance to be with other like-minded youth, to be encouraged, to learn from the teachings, and to be spiritually refreshed on a weekly basis.

As Israel experiences its 5th wave of COVID, the youth can be especially vulnerable to the uncertainty surrounding them. In addition to being stressed, some youth have trouble processing their emotions in these times. Many experience anxiety and loneliness as a result of being sick, having friends who are sick, or studying remotely. It is imperative that they feel supported and encouraged in the Lord!

Many youth have shared with us how grateful they are for NerYah and the support they get from the adult leaders. One 14-year-old girl, who is new to the youth group and the only known believer in her school said:

I love that I get time each week to hang out and talk with other believers. The worship at the meetings is also really special and I'm happy I get to participate in it. I also love that the leaders take the time to pray with us and to ask how we're doing - it's obvious that they really care.
