Thank you for partnering with us as we continue to disciple the future generation of believers in Israel.

I have previously shared about the NerYah believing youth group, which is the first stage of our threefold vision for equipping and empowering the future generation of believers in Israel. Discipling this age group can be quite challenging, especially since many of them are facing significant hurdles in their lives. But, it's also one of the most amazing things that we get to do in our work. Our goal is not that the youth will have a perfect walk with the LORD, but that they will know Him personally and become strengthened in Him to face whatever challenge comes their way. An inherent part of strengthening them is encouraging them to read the Word regularly.

Last month, we offered the youth to join the HFI staff in our annual scripture-reading program. We handed out the reading plan at our last meeting of 2021, and from time to time, during our meetings, we encourage them to keep reading the Bible. It's been really encouraging to see some of the youth take up the challenge of reading the Scriptures in a year! One of the teens who is really engaged in the meetings, and often asks questions to understand the Scriptures, sent us a message saying:

 "Thank you for all the effort. Your answers really help me in my seeking, and with my closeness to the Lord."

Our youth group coordinators also had a long conversation with another teenager, who was struggling to understand what she was reading. She sent this:

"Thanks for all the help! I really, really appreciate you!"
