Shalom from Jerusalem!

I am personally grateful for your partnership with us as we continue to be a tangible blessing to the believing young men and women serving in the IDF.

In Israel, after graduating high school, Israelis are required to service in the military (IDF - Israeli Defense Forces) for two to three years.  It is an intense time for these young men and women, but especially so for believers. For many believing men and women, serving in the military is their first encounter with the difficulties and challenges of the "real world" outside of the safe shelter of home. They are challenged in all areas - physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

When faced with an environment that is often hostile to their faith, many young believing soldiers struggle in their walk with the Lord. We are there to practically encourage our believing soldiers every step of the way.

One way we do this is by hand delivering care packages to them a few times throughout the year. In celebration of Hanukkah in early December, we delivered packages to 50 believing soldiers in the immediate Jerusalem area! I want to share some messages of thanks we received from the soldiers:

"Thank you for the package! It's such a blessing and I do not take it for granted."

"WOW! What a special package you all put together! Thank you so much."

"Thank you for the package! My sister sent me a picture of it while I was on my shift, and it brought a smile to my face!"

The mother of one of the soldiers sent us this: 

"Thank you, thank you, thank you for this! I am so touched - it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for all you do. May God bless you!"
