Dear Hope for Israel Family,

I want to take a moment and simply say thank you.

Because of your support, March was not just another difficult month, but a time when real help reached real people in tangible ways.

Through Operation Hessed, more than 500 families received grocery vouchers ahead of the Passover holiday. Not only did it meet families’ practical needs, but it also gave them a sense of stability and dignity, even amid ongoing uncertainty. Bereaved families, single parent households, displaced families, and lone soldiers were able to stand a little stronger because someone chose to stand with them.

At the same time, through Operation Restoration, over 200 families were moved out of high- risk areas in northern Israel into safe accommodations. Among them were elderly individuals and children with special needs. For many, this was the first time in days they experienced quiet, rest, and a sense of security. Sometimes the impact is found in something very simple: the ability to breathe without fear, even if only for a short time.

One of the mayors from a community we assisted wrote to us on behalf of his residents. He described not only their impossible situation, but what your support has meant to them. He shared that providing these families with a place to stay is not just “help”; it is a lifeline away from danger, enabling them to regain strength, and continue forward. He also expressed that knowing they are seen, and not forgotten, has strengthened both individuals and the wider community.

Incredibly, we also continued with Operation Doors of Hope, bringing real restoration to families near Gaza whose sense of safety was shattered on October 7. Installing the newest upgraded reinforced safe room doors in their homes not only restores protection, but also enables them to remain where they are called to live. Seventy-five doors still remain to complete this urgent work.

None of this happens on its own. It happens because you chose to be part of it!
