Friday evening as Shabbat was entering in a rocket was shot from Gaza and landed in the southern city of Sderot causing damage to a home and bus. Thankfully, there were no injuries. Just after midnight, sirens rang off in Ashkelon as another rocket was fired from Gaza at the city. Just seconds after the siren the Iron Dome intercepted the rocket. Please pray for Israel during this time. It is a time of solemn celebration with family as people are in the midst of the High Holidays. Please pray for divine protection and safety from those who seek to harm and destroy Israel from outside her borders and also from within. Please pray for the peace of Israel and Jerusalem.
