Two consecutive terror attacks, Saturday night and Monday morning, took the lives of three Israelis and left one seriously injured. The attacks both occurred in Palestinian areas notorious for past terror attacks.
In the first shooting, a terrorist opened fire on an Israeli father and son duo stopped in the Palestinian village of Huwara. The father and son, residents of Ashdod, took their car to a garage in Huwara Saturday evening, where the terrorist identified them as Jewish before shooting. The terrorist escaped and security forces are searching for him near Nablus, where they believe he fled following the attack.
The second attack occurred Monday morning near the city of Hebron in southern Judea and Samaria. The victims, who authorities have not yet identified, were a man and woman in their forties. A child was also present in the vehicle. The woman died of her injuries on site while the man was evacuated to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
Please pray for healing for the injured man. Please pray for comfort and healing for the victims’ families as they grieve. Lastly, please continue to pray for safety and efficacy for Israeli security forces on guard in these conflicted areas.
