ROSH HASHANAH 5774:  Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the Jewish New Year, begins tonight at sundown.  Jewish people throughout the world will commemorate God’s faithfulness as we reflect on the previous year, and look forward to the sweetness of the coming year.  Families will gather together to celebrate over a festive meal, and eat sweet dishes.  Please pray for a safe & peaceful celebration for all throughout the world who are celebrating the feast.  Please also pray that in light of the potential American strike in Syria, that this season will be a good reminder of God’s blessings and protection.

Jewish Groups Support Syrian Strike:  Various influential American Jewish groups have come out strongly supporting Obama’s push to intervene in the Syrian civil war.  They understand how this could affect Israel in the future, as well as setting a precedent for keeping Iran from becoming armed with nuclear weapons.  Please continue to pray for the situation in Syria; please pray for wisdom for the US and Israeli governments as they have very tough decisions to make, which will have consequences either way.  Please also pray for a great revival among the Syrians, that they will come to know Yeshua in this terrible time.  For more, see Syrian Strike

Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as the time of the tribulation draws near; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah.  Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.

Thank you for praying! Shanah Tovah!
