Syrian Invasion On Hold:  President Obama announced over the weekend that a US-led attack on Syria would be on hold for at least another week.  While he agrees that something must be done to hold Bashar Assad accountable for the murder of hundreds of Syrians from last week’s chemical attack, he is waiting for Congress to approve such a move.  Israelis continue to prepare for a possible retaliatory strike from Syria if the US does move forward with its attack.  Please continue to pray for Israel and the Syrian people in this precarious time, especially as the Assad regime has been emboldened by the lack of action by the international community to intervene in the civil war.  Please also pray for boldness and wisdom for the USA and Israel as they will most likely cooperate in any attack on Syria.

Terror Attack Foiled in Jerusalem:  The Israeli Secret Service has uncovered a terror attack planned on one of Jerusalem’s busiest malls, Mamilla.  The planned attack was apparently in its final stages, and was planned for the upcoming High Holy Days.  The mall, which attracts hundreds of visitors daily (a large portion of them tourists), is an outdoor mall just outside the old city of Jerusalem.  The attack was to be executed in part by maintenance workers from Ramallah and East Jerusalem.  Please pray for Israel’s protection especially during the High Holy Days.  Please pray that as the situation in Syria worsens, that Israel will not be caught off-guard in other areas of security issues.  Lastly, please pray that future terror attacks will continue to be foiled and that no loss of life will ensue.  For more, see Mamilla Terror Attack

Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as the time of the tribulation draws near; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah.  Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.

Thank you for praying! Have a blessed week…
