China Backs Russian Proposal in Syria: Not surprisingly, China has announced that it supports the Russian proposal for Bashar Assad to turn over his entire arsenal of chemical weapons, in efforts to fend off an American strike against Syria. It has long been known that China and Russia are not only Syrian allies, but are also supplying the regime with arms. This latest development is most likely a ploy to keep Syria up and running, and keep Assad from going down for attacking his own people with nerve gas, which killed over 1,400 Syrians in late August. Please continue to pray for the civil war in Syria, especially as more countries are getting involved in the debate. Please also pray that as we see these events unfold, the Body of Messiah around the world will ready itself for a potential third World War. Lastly, please pray for great wisdom for Israel, and for her to not compromise on the Word of God in these times. For more, see China Backs Russia
Iron Dome Deployed in Jerusalem: The anti-missile system, the Iron Dome, was deployed in the Jerusalem area earlier this week. While not specifically commenting on the reason, an Israeli military spokesperson said that these are deployed based on intelligence for potential threats to Israel. This could be in preparation for an American-led attack on Syria, or just for protection in general as Yom Kippur nears. Please continue to pray for God’s sovereign protection over Israel in these turbulent times. Please also pray that He will ready us for whatever lies ahead, especially as Yom Kippur draws near. For more, see Iron Dome
Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as the time of the tribulation draws near; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah. Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.
Thank you for praying! Have a blessed week…
