Restaurant Industry Struggling

Thousands of cafes and restaurants reopened this past week in Israel. They have been operating on a delivery basis only since September. The industry is one of the hardest hit from the multiple lockdowns that Israel put in place over the past year. A leading expert in the industry has warned that it will take “years” for restaurants and cafes to recover from the lockdowns. Nearly 4,000 cafes closed their doors permanently, which is about one third of the amount in Israel. Sadly, restaurant employees account for a large number of unemployed workers in the country today. Please pray for Israel’s economic recovery as we continue to emerge from the pandemic. Please also pray for all who struggle to meet basic needs, for miraculous provision.
