Today another protest rally by the Ethiopian Jewish community is set to take place in Tel Aviv. Last Thursday, over 1,000 Ethiopians rallied in Jerusalem in protest of a recent video that came out last week of a police officer beating a young Ethiopian Israeli soldier in uniform. For a long time, the Ethiopian community has voiced frustration and complained about unfair treatment and violence by police. Please pray for safety and that today’s protest will not turn violent. Pray for God’s justice to be found in the Israeli system, that it will be rid of any prejudice or racism against any segment of the population.
