Today, a 16-year-old girl attempted to stab a Border Policeman at the Damascus Gate in the Old City. She was detained before causing any injuries. This happened about a week following the stabbing and shooting attack at the same location that left a 19-year-old Border Policewoman killed. The Damascus Gate and the Old City in general have been a focal point for many attacks in the past several months. The Damascus Gate is the entrance to the Arab quarter of the Old City and where man policemen patrol for security. Please pray for a covering over this gate and the civilians and police officers that are stationed there. We pray for the light of Messiah to breakthrough to the people and residents there. We ask for God’s hand of protection to be over these ancient gates.
