Shalom from Jerusalem!
A few weeks ago, days before we celebrated Pesach (Passover), we had the privilege to distribute over 1,000 food packages to families in need here in Israel. We have done this project for a few years now, and every time we are overwhelmed by how many people it blesses. It not only touches the hearts of those who receive the packages, but also everyone involved in the operation, no matter how big or small their part is. All of this can be achieved only by God’s gracious provision through friends like you.
The families and individuals who received the food packages were so blessed! They appreciated how much care and effort were put into them. Many asked questions about Hope for Israel, opening a door to share the hope that we have in Messiah.
Joanna, our business manager, was touched by the unity of everyone involved. “What touched me the most was to see how everyone worked together on this project. All of us at Hope for Israel pulled together and did what was needed to make it successful. The people in the store where we buy the food were also very moved and excited to once again partake in the project; they did everything they could to make it work as smoothly as possible”.
We are all very grateful for your partnership and supportive prayers. Without them, we could not have taken on a project of such magnitude. It touched the lives of many people and gave many families hope to celebrate the Lord’s Passover.
