Today, September 22 at sundown, all cars disappear from the streets and silence covers the the nation as Israel enters into a solemn day of prayer and repentance for the forgiveness of the personal and collective sins of the people of Israel. It is a day, in absence of the Temple and the ability to bring sacrifices as a sin offering, the Jewish people consecrate this day in hopes that their prayers will lead to their names being written in the Book of Life. There is no certainty in these prayers, yet, those who hold to the confidence and hope in Messiah can be interceding on the behalf of the people of Israel. Please join us in the coming days for the individual and collective return of the Jewish people to their Messiah. Please pray for the recognition of our own sins in our lives and a humble heart of repentance in those places.
