Operation Protective Edge:  Israel launched a ground operation into Gaza late this week in order to dismantle Hamas terror infrastructures, namely tunnels that are intended to attack Israelis in bordering communities.  There are also tunnels running underneath to Egypt through which missiles and arms are smuggled.   Please continue to pray for Israel in this difficult time!  Please intercede for protection over our Land and all of Israel’s citizens.  Please also pray for God’s wisdom for our leaders – government and military – as they are continually faced with difficult decisions regarding this situation.  Lastly, please pray for our enemies, that they would come from darkness to the light of Yeshua and repent for raging against the LORD and His Anointed One (Psalm 2).

Terror Attack Thwarted:  The IDF foiled a terrorist attempt by Hamas militants who were en route to attack an Israeli kibbutz on the border of Gaza.  As the terrorists emerged from the tunnel on the Israeli side, the IDF was waiting for them and immediately arrested them.  We are grateful for the advanced intelligence that Israel garnered in order to thwart this attack. Please continue to pray for these attempted attacks to be thwarted, especially as they are increasing during Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.  Please also pray for the salvation of Israel’s enemies who are so blinded by their hatred that they are willing to do what it takes to try to destroy her.
