3 Kidnapped Teens Still Missing: The search for three Israeli Yeshiva teenagers who were kidnapped two weeks ago continues. Two Palestinian men with ties to Hamas and who were involved in the kidnapping have been arrested, but they are not talking at all. It is still not known if the boys are alive, and their families continue to wait in anguish for news of their loved ones. Please continue to pray for the boys’ safe and immediate return, and for strength and comfort for their families. Please also pray that Israel will find those responsible for the kidnapping and bring them to justice.
Three EU Countries Warn Against Business with Settlements: Despite the 2012 Levy Report, which concluded that the settlements in Judea & Samaria are legal by international law, three European countries – Italy, Spain, and France – have warned their citizens from doing business with any entity in such settlements. This is the latest evidence that BDS movement is gaining ground, which seeks to delegitimize Israeli businesses and tank the Israeli economy. Please pray that the truth of Israel’s legal right to exist will propagate throughout the world, and that followers of Messiah will be vocal about it as well. Please also pray for a strong Israeli economy despite the backlash against Israel, and for the world to see God’s hand of blessing over Israel despite their hatred of her.
Forest Fires in Jerusalem Area: Two large forest fires broke out in the Jerusalem forest in the past two weeks; both are thought to be acts of arson. One caused much damage to homes, but thankfully, no one was seriously wounded. These acts are considered to be possible acts of terrorism, which is definitely concerning. Please pray for protection from such fires, whether naturally occurring or purposefully set, especially during these hot, dry months of summer. Please also pray that Israel will have the proper resources to continue to fight such fires and to keep them from growing out of control.
Thank you for praying!
