Prayer Points for Israel

Passover Begins April 14th:  The biblical holiday of Passover (Pesach) begins Monday night at sundown.  People all over the world will celebrate God’s deliverance of the Children of Israel from slavery in Egypt.  It is one of the handful of holidays that the LORD commanded Israel to observe for generations to come, to recall His faithfulness to her.  Please pray for a peaceful and quiet celebration of Passover in Israel, and in Jewish communities throughout the world.  Please pray that families and friends who gather to remember His deliverance of Israel will also see the perfect Passover Lamb, Yeshua, who was slain for our eternal deliverance from death.  Lastly, please pray for Israel’s enemies, that they will also receive revelation of Yeshua during this time.

Israel May Release Terrorists to Extend Talks:  Israel has reportedly agreed to release the fourth and final batch of terrorists held in Israeli prisons in exchange for the PA to agree to extend “peace” talks. MK Naftali Bennett, chairman of the “Jewish Home” party in the Knesset, threatened to leave the government if this happens.  The Knesset would effectively collapse, forcing new elections, if Jewish Home leaves it.  Please pray for the chaos ensuing within the Israeli government.  Please pray that the LORD’s wisdom would prevail over all, and for men and women who fear Him to lead Israel.

Gaza Terrorists Fire on IDF Patrol:  Terrorists from Gaza fired mortar shells on an IDF patrol unit along the border with Israel; thankfully, they missed their target and no one was hurt.  This is happening more and more, causing concern that things are heating up in Gaza once again, and Israel will need to make some tough decisions about how to handle it.  Please pray for God’s protection over Israel and her border with Gaza.  Please pray for a breakthrough in the situation, and that the gospel of peace in Yeshua will go forth with fervor in the Land.  Lastly, please pray for wisdom for Israel’s leaders regarding how to handle the Gaza situation.

Thank you for praying!
