Thursday evening, an IDF soldier was killed while he was off-duty shopping at a local grocery store in Sha’ar Binyamin in Judea and Samaria by two 14-year old Palestinians who stabbed him to death. Another Israeli was wounded at the store from being stabbed and is in the hospital recovering from light-moderate wounds. Then, Friday morning two Border Policeman were attacked with a knife by a Palestinian at the Damascus Gate. The terrorist was immediately shot and killed, while the officers were taken to the hospital for treatment and remain in light-to-moderate condition. A Palestinian woman was also lightly injured from shrapnel to the leg during the attack. The Damascus Gate is the site of now 11 attacks over the past five months. Please pray specifically for this section of the Old City and for the family of the Israeli soldier who was killed, leaving behind a wife and baby daughter. Pray for healing as the family and friends mourn this great loss.
