Pray with Us! – November 2026

Image
Shalom from Jerusalem,

November comes at an important time for Israel as the country enters a new season following the recent national elections. This period brings a sense of anticipation and the possibility of new beginnings, alongside uncertainty about the direction ahead and the challenges that lie before us. At the same time, the security situation remains tense, with our security forces on heightened alert as they continue working to prevent terrorist attacks. These ongoing concerns affect daily life across the country and remind us of the continued need for protection, wisdom, and peace.

This month, we invite you to pray with us for Israel and for the ongoing work of Hope for Israel during this sensitive period. Pray for wisdom and discernment for our country's leaders as they face important decisions, and for unity and responsibility among the people of Israel despite our differences and disagreements. Pray for our security forces and soldiers as they work to protect the country, that God would grant them alertness, sound judgment, and protection in every situation. Pray also for the safety of civilians and for God's peace amid the uncertainty and tension. As we continue serving individuals, families, and communities throughout Israel, please also pray for wisdom, strength, and God's guidance and provision for the various ministries and projects of Hope for Israel.

Most importantly, pray that the people of Israel would turn to the one and only true God. In times of political change and security challenges, may hearts seek Him and recognize that our deepest need goes beyond political or military solutions. Pray that God would reveal Himself to His people, draw them closer to Him, and help them find their hope, peace, and salvation in Him.

PRAYER REQUESTS FOR ISRAEL
FORMATION OF ISRAEL'S NEW GOVERNMENT

Following Israel's national elections on October 27, the process of forming a new government brings important decisions concerning the future of our nation. As political parties negotiate and consider the responsibilities of leadership, Israel continues to face significant challenges involving national security, economic stability, social divisions, and the well-being of its people. During this period, we want to pray that those entrusted with leadership will recognize the weight of their responsibilities and seek wisdom beyond their own understanding.

Please pray:

  • Pray for God-fearing leadership in Israel. Pray that God would raise up leaders who seek Him for wisdom and discernment, lead with integrity and humility, and recognize their responsibility before Him and the people they serve. Pray that they would have the courage to make difficult decisions and the humility to recognize the limitations of their own understanding.
  • Pray for wisdom and discernment in the formation of the next government. Pray for those involved in political negotiations, that personal ambitions, political disagreements, and competing interests would not take priority over the needs of the nation. Pray that the process would be conducted with integrity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to Israel's future.
  • Pray for responsible leadership concerning Israel's national challenges. Pray that those entrusted with authority would make wise decisions concerning Israel's security, economic stability, and national unity. Pray that they would consider the long-term consequences of their decisions and place the well-being of the nation above personal or political interests.
  • Pray for justice, compassion, and equal concern for all who live in Israel. Pray that Israel's leaders would recognize their responsibility to serve all citizens, including Jews, Arabs, Muslims, Christians, Druze, and people of other faiths and backgrounds. Pray that their decisions would reflect justice, fairness, and respect for the dignity of every person, and that no community would be overlooked or neglected because of its religious, ethnic, or social identity. Pray also for particular sensitivity toward vulnerable communities and those facing hardship.
UNITY AND HEALING WITHIN ISRAELI SOCIETY

The past three years have placed enormous pressure on Israeli society, exposing and deepening divisions that existed long before October 7. Political disagreements, tensions between religious and secular communities, disputes over military service, and differences concerning Israel's identity and future continue to affect relationships within our nation. While we may hold very different opinions about the direction our country should take, these disagreements should not cause us to forget our shared responsibility toward one another. As we move forward following the elections, we want to pray for healing within our society and for a willingness to examine our own hearts before God.

Please pray:

  • Pray for healing from the divisions within Israeli society. Pray that political, religious, and social disagreements would not lead to further hostility, hatred, or violence. Pray that people would be willing to listen to those with whom they disagree and recognize that differences of opinion do not have to turn into personal hatred or rejection.
  • Pray for understanding between Israel's religious and secular communities. Disagreements concerning religious identity, the role of religion in public life, and the relationship between faith and the state continue to create tensions. Pray that these differences would not deepen mistrust between communities and that people would seek ways to live together while recognizing that not everyone shares the same beliefs or convictions.
  • Pray for wisdom and understanding concerning military service. The disagreements surrounding military service, particularly the responsibilities of different communities and the burden carried by soldiers and reservists, continue to create tension within Israeli society. Pray that these difficult discussions would acknowledge the sacrifices made by those serving, the concerns of their families, and the responsibility we share for defending our country. Pray that solutions would be found that address these challenges without creating further division.
  • Pray for the restoration of relationships affected by political and social disagreements. Pray for families, friendships, congregations, and communities where differences of opinion have created distance, anger, or broken relationships. Pray that people would be willing to acknowledge when their words or actions have caused harm, seek forgiveness where needed, and work toward restoring relationships rather than allowing disagreements to separate them.
  • Pray for peaceful relationships among the different communities living in Israel. Pray for Jewish and Arab citizens and the many religious, cultural, and ethnic communities that make up our society. Pray that fear, prejudice, and mistrust would not lead to further hostility or violence. Pray for greater understanding of the challenges facing different communities and for a shared commitment to building a society where people can live safely and with dignity.
  • Pray for genuine repentance and spiritual renewal among the people of Israel. As we are reminded in 2 Chronicles 7:14, God calls His people to humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways. Pray that we would not focus only on the failures of others but would also examine our own hearts, words, and actions. Pray that we would recognize where anger, pride, bitterness, or indifference have influenced the way we treat others, and that we would turn to the one and only true God and seek His truth in Messiah Yeshua.
ISRAEL'S SECURITY AND ONGOING THREATS

Israel continues to face serious security challenges on several fronts. Iran and the terrorist organizations it supports remain a threat to our country, while Hamas and Hezbollah continue efforts to rebuild their military capabilities. At the same time, the threat of terrorist attacks within Israel and in Judea and Samaria requires constant vigilance from our security forces. Although the intensity of fighting has changed, the responsibility of protecting our borders, communities, and civilians remains a daily reality for our soldiers and security personnel.

Please pray:

  • Pray for the protection of Israel's soldiers and security personnel. Pray for the men and women serving in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the police, border security units, and other security agencies. Many continue serving under demanding conditions, often far from their families. Pray for their physical protection, alertness, and sound judgment as they carry out their responsibilities.
  • Pray for protection against the threats from Iran and its regional allies. Pray that efforts to strengthen terrorist organizations, transfer weapons, and prepare attacks against Israel would be exposed and prevented. Pray for Israel's intelligence and security agencies as they work to identify these threats and protect our country from further attacks.
  • Pray concerning the ongoing threats from Hamas and Hezbollah. Pray that efforts by these organizations to rebuild their military capabilities, recruit new operatives, and prepare future attacks would be prevented. Pray for the protection of communities in northern and southern Israel that have endured years of rocket fire, evacuations, and uncertainty, and for families seeking to restore a sense of security in their homes.
  • Pray for the prevention of terrorist attacks within Israel and in Judea and Samaria. Pray that planned attacks would be discovered before lives are lost and that those responsible for preventing terrorism would have the information and resources needed to respond effectively. Pray for the safety of civilians traveling on roads, using public transportation, attending schools, and going about their daily lives.
  • Pray for Israel's military and security leadership. Pray for those responsible for making decisions that affect the lives of soldiers and civilians. Pray that they would receive accurate intelligence, carefully consider the consequences of their decisions, and act responsibly as they address threats while seeking to prevent unnecessary loss of life.
  • Pray for the protection of innocent civilians throughout the region. Pray for innocent civilians in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, and other areas affected by war and terrorism. Pray for those who continue suffering because of violence, displacement, and the actions of terrorist organizations. Pray that innocent lives would be protected, that those in need would receive necessary assistance, and that further suffering and loss of life would be prevented.
  • Pray for the families of those serving in Israel's security forces. Pray for spouses, children, and parents who continue living with the uncertainty and concerns that accompany military and security service. Pray for strength during prolonged separations, for encouragement when responsibilities at home become overwhelming, and for opportunities for families to spend meaningful time together.
    HFI PRAYER REQUESTS

As we enter November, Hope for Israel continues serving individuals, families, and communities throughout the land. Through our work with the next generation of believers, compassionate outreach, community restoration projects, and media ministry, we remain committed to the work God has entrusted to us. At the same time, we are preparing for upcoming ministry activities and opportunities, while continuing to respond to the needs of those we serve.

As we look toward the coming months, we are grateful for your continued prayers and partnership. We recognize our dependence on the Lord for wisdom, strength, and provision in every area of the ministry.

    Please pray:

    • Pray for God's guidance over Hope for Israel. Pray that we would remain faithful to the vision and calling God has entrusted to us and recognize the opportunities He provides to serve the people of Israel.
    • Pray for sensitivity to the needs of those we serve. Pray that we would recognize opportunities to provide meaningful assistance, encouragement, and spiritual support to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.
    • Pray that our work would reflect the love of Yeshua. Pray that through our words, actions, and relationships, those we serve would experience genuine care and that everything we do would honor the Lord.
    MORAN

During October, Moran had the opportunity to host and lead a wonderful group from a partner ministry in the United States on a tour through Greece. Throughout the journey, he taught Scripture at places connected to the biblical account, helping participants deepen their understanding of God's Word. He was also grateful to spend more time in the office with the Hope for Israel team, working together on the renewed vision and direction for our NerYah Believing Youth and Believing Soldiers ministries.

November will be another busy month as Moran travels to several locations throughout the United States for two weeks of speaking engagements, meetings, and opportunities to share about Israel and the work of Hope for Israel. If you would like more information about opportunities to hear Moran speak during his visit, please contact us at [email protected].

Before his departure, Moran and his family will mark the third anniversary of the death of his nephew, who was killed at the age of 21 while serving in Gaza. This anniversary is a painful reminder of the personal losses that so many Israeli families continue carrying. We would especially appreciate your prayers for Moran and his family as they remember their beloved nephew and the life that was taken far too soon.

Alongside these responsibilities, Moran continues writing Hope for Israel's twice-weekly updates on developments in Israel and the weekly Word from Moran Scripture commentary. He also remains active in advocating for Israel through Facebook, Instagram, and Threads. With so much misinformation, hostility, and confusion surrounding Israel, including among believers, this work continues to bring both opportunities and challenges.

    Please continue to pray for:

    • Pray for strength and protection for Moran as he balances his responsibilities at Hope for Israel with the ongoing challenges of living in Israel during this period of uncertainty.
    • Pray for safe travels and good health throughout his two-week visit to the United States, including protection during flights and travel between the different locations, and for meaningful opportunities to encourage and connect with those he meets.
    • Pray for Moran and his family as they remember his nephew on the third anniversary of his death. Pray that the Lord would comfort and strengthen them as they continue living with this loss.
    • Pray for protection over Moran's family while he is traveling abroad, and for strength as they manage their responsibilities at home during his absence.
    • Pray for wisdom and guidance as Moran leads Hope for Israel, oversees its different ministries and projects, and works with the team to develop and carry out the ministry's vision.
    • Pray for God's guidance and inspiration as Moran writes the weekly Scripture commentaries and twice-weekly Israel updates, and as he produces videos and other content advocating for Israel. Pray that he would communicate clearly and accurately, even when facing opposition and criticism.
    HFI STAFF & BOARD MEMBERS

Our staff, volunteers, and board members continue to carry many responsibilities as Hope for Israel serves people throughout the land. We are grateful for each person the Lord has brought to serve alongside us and for the different gifts and abilities they contribute to the ministry.

During November, while Moran is traveling in the United States, our team in Israel will continue overseeing the daily work of the ministry and the various projects and activities taking place. An important board meeting is also scheduled during Moran's visit to the United States, providing an opportunity for our leadership to discuss the ministry's direction, priorities, and plans for the future.

    Please pray:

    • Pray for our staff, volunteers, and board members. Pray for strength, good health, protection, and encouragement as they carry out their responsibilities and serve the people God brings across their paths.
    • Pray for our team in Israel while Moran is traveling. Pray for good communication, cooperation, and sound judgment as the staff oversees the daily work of Hope for Israel and responds to the needs and challenges that arise.
    • Pray for the upcoming board meeting in the United States. Pray that the Lord would guide the discussions and decisions concerning the ministry's future, its priorities, and the resources needed to carry out its vision. Pray that the meeting would be productive and that the board and leadership would be united in their commitment to the work God has entrusted to Hope for Israel.
    • Pray for the right full-time counselor for our NerYah Believing Youth and Believing Soldiers ministries. Pray that God would provide someone with the professional qualifications, spiritual maturity, and genuine heart needed to care for the emotional and spiritual needs of the young people we serve.
    • Pray for the families of our staff and board members. Pray for protection, strength, and encouragement as they support those serving in the ministry and manage their own family and personal responsibilities.
    • Pray for Bill Katz, our U.S. representative. Pray for his health and strength, and that God would continue opening opportunities for him to build relationships, encourage ministry partners, and represent Hope for Israel throughout the United States.
THREEFOLD VISION FOR EMPOWERING THE FUTURE GENERATION OF BELIEVERS

    NerYah - Believing Youth Group

As our NerYah Believing Youth return to school following the holidays, we want to encourage them to strengthen their relationships with one another and continue growing in their faith. Meanwhile, our team is preparing for the new activity year beginning in January. We are seeking a permanent meeting place, additional mentors and coordinators, and opportunities for our young people to take a more active role in building the NerYah community.

    Please pray:

    • Pray for our NerYah Believing Youth as they return to school after the holidays. Pray for motivation, concentration, and strength as they settle back into their routines and responsibilities. Pray also for those who may be facing academic, social, or personal challenges during this period.
    • Pray for stronger relationships among our young people. Pray that they would take the initiative to connect outside regular NerYah activities, spending time together in prayer, fellowship, and encouragement. Pray that meaningful friendships would develop and that no one would feel isolated or left out.
    • Pray for our team as we prepare for the new activity year beginning in January. Pray that God would provide a suitable permanent meeting place and bring the right mentors and coordinators who have a genuine heart for discipling young believers. Pray for wisdom as our team develops activities and teaching that will address the needs of the young people entrusted to us.
    • Pray for the young people participating in our NerYah focus group. Pray that they would embrace the vision of NerYah and recognize the important role they can play in strengthening the community. Pray that their relationship with the Lord would deepen and that they would grow in their willingness to serve, take responsibility, and encourage other young believers.

    Believing Soldiers

Our Believing Soldiers continue to face demanding periods of military service, often dealing with physical and emotional exhaustion, limited sleep, heavy workloads, and little opportunity to recover. Some find it difficult to express what they are experiencing, while others continue carrying their responsibilities despite feeling overwhelmed. Through this ministry, we want to walk alongside them, encourage them in their faith, and provide a community where they can share their challenges and receive support.

    Please pray:

    • Pray for our Believing Soldiers facing physical and emotional exhaustion. Pray especially for those serving for extended periods with limited sleep and opportunities to rest. Pray that God would renew their strength, sustain them through the demands of military service, and provide opportunities for the rest and recovery they need.
    • Pray for soldiers who find it difficult to share their struggles. Some may feel pressure to remain strong or may be reluctant to speak about what they are experiencing. Pray that they would have trusted friends, commanders, and mentors who recognize when they need support and provide a safe environment where they can speak openly without fear of judgment.
    • Pray for God's protection over our Believing Soldiers wherever they serve. Pray for alertness, sound judgment, and protection as they carry out their responsibilities, particularly in situations involving danger, uncertainty, and difficult decisions.
    • Pray that our Believing Soldiers would remain grounded in their faith. Pray that the pressures and demands of military service would not distance them from the Lord. Pray that they would continue making time for prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers whenever possible, and that their relationship with Him would remain a source of strength and encouragement.

    Believing University Students/Discharged Soldiers

As the new academic year begins, our believing students are adjusting to new routines, academic responsibilities, and decisions concerning their future. At the same time, recently discharged soldiers are transitioning to civilian life, considering opportunities for education and employment, and adjusting to life outside the military. Through our Growing Together ministry, we continue providing fellowship, discipleship, and encouragement as they navigate these important stages of life.

    Please pray:

    • Pray for our believing students as they begin the new academic year. Pray that they would adjust well to their studies, manage their responsibilities, and develop meaningful friendships. Pray for motivation and concentration as they face academic demands and for wisdom in balancing their studies with work, family, and personal commitments.
    • Pray for students struggling with insecurity, comparison, or academic difficulties. Pray that they would not measure their worth by their grades, achievements, or the success of others. Pray that they would remember their identity in the Lord and find encouragement when facing setbacks or uncertainty about their abilities.
    • Pray that our believing students would remain faithful to the Lord throughout their studies. Pray that they would stand firm in their biblical convictions, continue growing in their understanding of God's Word, and demonstrate their faith through their relationships, decisions, and conduct.
    • Pray for recently discharged soldiers adjusting to civilian life. Pray for those making decisions concerning education, employment, travel, and their future. Pray that they would find direction and purpose during this transition and not feel pressured to have every aspect of their future determined immediately.
    • Pray for discharged soldiers who continue struggling with difficult experiences from their military service.Pray for those carrying emotional wounds, painful memories, or challenges adjusting to everyday life. Pray that they would receive the care and professional support they need, find people who are willing to listen, and experience healing and renewed hope for the future.
    MEDIA MINISTRY

Through our media ministry, we continue producing articles, videos, social media content, Israel updates, and other resources to help believers around the world understand what is happening in Israel and what God's Word teaches concerning His continuing plans and purposes for His people. With so much misinformation and hostility toward Israel being shared online, we recognize the importance of communicating accurate information, addressing difficult questions, and helping people distinguish between facts and misleading narratives.

We are also continuing the development of Hope for Israel's new website, which will provide a more effective platform for sharing biblical teaching, communicating the work of the ministry, and making our resources accessible to people around the world.

    Please pray:

    • Pray for wisdom and discernment for our media team. Pray that we would recognize which issues need to be addressed and communicate them clearly, accurately, and responsibly, particularly when responding to sensitive or rapidly developing events in Israel.
    • Pray for the effectiveness of our articles, videos, and social media content. Pray that these resources would reach people who are seeking to understand Israel, challenge misinformation, and encourage believers to examine what God's Word teaches rather than simply accept the narratives they encounter.
    • Pray for believers around the world who are struggling to understand the situation in Israel. Pray that they would be willing to examine the facts, ask difficult questions, and seek a deeper understanding of God's promises and purposes for Israel and the Jewish people.
    • Pray for the right person to join our media ministry. Pray that God would provide someone with the necessary skills, experience, and commitment to strengthen our ability to produce and share content across our different platforms.
    • Pray for the continued development of Hope for Israel's new website. Pray for those involved in designing, developing, and preparing the website for launch. Pray that the remaining work would progress smoothly and that the finished website would serve as an effective resource for biblical teaching, ministry updates, and opportunities to connect with Hope for Israel.
    • Pray for our media team and their families. Pray for strength, protection, and encouragement as they manage the demands of producing content, responding to current events, and communicating about issues that often generate criticism and opposition.
    MINISTRY FINANCES

We are grateful for God's faithful provision through those who pray for and financially support Hope for Israel. As we continue serving the people of Israel and preparing for the opportunities ahead, we recognize our dependence on the Lord for the resources needed to carry out the work He has entrusted to us. We also recognize our responsibility to manage these resources carefully and ensure that they are used effectively.

The financial needs of the ministry remain significant, from investing in the next generation of believers and providing practical assistance to families and communities throughout Israel to developing our media ministry, restoration projects, and the daily operations that make this work possible.

    Please pray:

    • Pray for God's continued financial provision for Hope for Israel. Pray that the Lord would provide the resources needed to sustain our ongoing ministries, support our staff, and carry out the projects and opportunities before us.
    • Pray for the financial needs of our different ministries and projects. Pray for continued provision for our work with the next generation of believers, our humanitarian assistance and community restoration initiatives, and the development of our media ministry.
    • Pray for new ministry partners and continued relationships with those who support Hope for Israel. Pray that God would bring individuals, congregations, and organizations who share our heart for Israel and desire to participate in the work He is doing through the ministry.
    • Pray for wisdom and faithfulness in managing the ministry's finances. Pray that we would make responsible financial decisions, establish appropriate priorities, and carefully manage every resource entrusted to us. Pray that our decisions would honor the Lord and reflect our commitment to serving the people He has called us to serve.
    COMMUNITY RESTORATION INITIATIVE

Hope for Israel continues standing alongside families and communities as they rebuild their homes and lives following the devastating consequences of war. Through Operation Doors of Hope and Operation Restoration, we are providing practical assistance to people who have experienced displacement, destruction, and prolonged uncertainty. Our desire is not only to help meet their immediate needs but also to encourage them as they work toward restoring stability and rebuilding their communities.

Through Operation Doors of Hope, we have been working to provide 253 reinforced security doors for families in Nahal Oz, a community that suffered greatly during the October 7 attacks. We are grateful for the provision that has allowed this project to move forward, with only 57 doors remaining to complete the original request.

Through Operation Restoration, we continue assisting families from northern Israel who are rebuilding their lives after prolonged displacement. Many continue facing practical and financial challenges as they repair their homes, replace essential belongings, and work toward restoring their daily routines.

    Please pray:

    • Pray for the completion of Operation Doors of Hope. Pray that God would provide the resources needed for the remaining 57 security doors in Nahal Oz and that the installation process would proceed safely and efficiently.
    • Pray for the families receiving these security doors. Pray that the additional protection would help restore a sense of safety in their homes and provide encouragement as they continue rebuilding their lives.
    • Pray for the families receiving assistance through Operation Restoration. Pray for those who continue facing financial difficulties, damaged homes, and the challenges of returning to their communities after prolonged displacement. Pray that they would receive the practical assistance and support needed to move forward.
    • Pray for the restoration of community life in northern and southern Israel. Pray for families who are working to rebuild relationships, restore their routines, and regain confidence in the future of their communities after years of uncertainty and disruption.
    • Pray for wisdom and provision as we carry out these projects. Pray for our team as we coordinate with local leaders, contractors, and families, determine where assistance is most needed, and manage the resources entrusted to us.
    • Pray for meaningful opportunities to encourage the families we serve. Pray that through our practical assistance and personal relationships, families would know that they have not been forgotten and would experience genuine care and encouragement during this difficult period.
    Tours

Our tours provide participants with opportunities to experience the lands of the Bible, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and connect what they read in God's Word with the places where many of these events took place. They also allow participants to meet local communities, better understand the history and present realities of Israel, and see firsthand some of the work taking place through Hope for Israel.

Unfortunately, due to insufficient registration, we have had to cancel our December Israel Solidarity Tour. While this is disappointing, we recognize the importance of carefully evaluating our tour operations and seeking the Lord's direction concerning future opportunities. We are continuing preparations for our Experience Israel Tour, April 7-18, 2027, while also considering the possibility of organizing another tour to Greece following our recent journey there.

    Please pray:

    • Pray for wisdom concerning the future direction of our tour operations. Pray that the Lord would guide us as we evaluate our current approach, consider the challenges affecting participation, and determine which opportunities to pursue. Pray that we would use our time and resources responsibly while developing tours that fulfill the ministry's vision and purpose.
    • Pray for our Experience Israel Tour in April 2027. Pray that God would bring the right participants and guide our team as we continue preparing the itinerary, coordinating arrangements, and communicating with those interested in joining.
    • Pray for wisdom as we consider organizing another tour to Greece. Following our recent tour, we are exploring the possibility of returning to Greece to visit places connected to the journeys of Paul and the early believers. Pray for guidance as we evaluate the interest, timing, and practical arrangements involved.
    • Pray that our tours would continue serving their spiritual purpose. Pray that the teaching, fellowship, and experiences offered through these journeys would deepen participants' understanding of God's Word, strengthen their faith, and encourage them to apply what they learn in their daily lives.

Thank you for faithfully standing with the people of Israel and with Hope for Israel through your prayers and partnership. We are deeply grateful for the encouragement and support of believers around the world who continue walking alongside us during these challenging times.

Your prayers are an important part of everything we do, from investing in the next generation of believers and serving families and communities throughout Israel to sharing biblical truth and helping others better understand God's continuing plans and purposes for His people.

May the Lord bless you and your families, strengthen you in your faith, and guide you as together we continue seeking His purposes and serving Him.

    IN HIS SERVICE,

THE HOPE FOR ISRAEL PRAYER TEAM
