Pray with Us! - July 2026 - Hope for Israel

As July begins, much of Israel is entering its summer routine. Schools are out, families are taking vacations, and children are enjoying the long days of summer. Yet this year, many families are doing so while loved ones remain on reserve duty, communities near the borders stay on alert, and the effects of war continue to shape daily life. Even so, Israelis continue making the most of ordinary moments while facing an extraordinary reality.

As Israel prepares for the upcoming national elections, political discussions are becoming more prominent, adding another layer to an already challenging season. Meanwhile, the needs created by the war continue to affect families, communities, and congregations across the country, reminding us that the work of restoration is far from complete.

At Hope for Israel, we remain committed to serving wherever the needs are greatest. Whether strengthening believing soldiers, investing in the next generation, helping restore communities affected by the war, or sharing truth about Israel with believers around the world, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve.

We invite you to join the Hope for Israel team in praying for the people of Israel, for wisdom for the nation's leaders, for protection over those serving on the front lines, and for the many opportunities God has given us to bring practical help, biblical truth, and lasting hope during this challenging season. PRAYER REQUESTS FOR ISRAEL

OPERATION LION’S ROAR

As ongoing threats from multiple fronts continue to shape daily life in Israel, the northern border remains one of the country's most closely watched frontiers. Although Home Front Command restrictions have been lifted, Hezbollah continues to pose a significant threat, and Israeli forces remain active in the security zone in southern Lebanon to prevent the terrorist organization from rebuilding its military capabilities.

In Gaza, Israeli forces continue operating against Hamas as the terrorist organization attempts to rebuild its military capabilities while international discussions continue regarding Gaza's future. In Judea and Samaria, Israeli security forces continue uncovering weapons, explosives, and terrorist infrastructure hidden within civilian areas.

Across the wider region, questions surrounding Iran's nuclear program remain unresolved. Conflicting statements regarding international inspections continue to create uncertainty, underscoring the importance of effective verification as diplomatic efforts move forward.

Please pray:

For God's protection over the people of Israel as ongoing threats from multiple fronts continue to shape daily life across the country.
For wisdom, protection, and strength for Israel's soldiers, reservists, and security forces serving on multiple fronts as they work to defend the nation and protect innocent lives.
For comfort for grieving families, healing for those who have been wounded physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and encouragement for those carrying the ongoing burdens of war.
For Israel's leaders and military commanders, that God would grant them wisdom, discernment, and courage as they make difficult decisions affecting the nation's security and future.
For every effort to rebuild terrorist capabilities, whether in Gaza, Lebanon, Judea and Samaria, or elsewhere, to be exposed and prevented before innocent lives are harmed.
For lasting peace and stability throughout the region, and for families and communities affected by conflict to experience hope, protection, and opportunities to rebuild their lives.

DIVISION AMONG THE ISRAELI PEOPLE

As Israel prepares for the upcoming national elections, political discussions are becoming increasingly visible throughout the country. At the same time, many Israelis continue carrying the weight of prolonged reserve duty, economic pressures, the ongoing impact of war, and uncertainty about the future. These realities have placed significant strain on Israeli society and highlight the need for wisdom, unity, and strong leadership in the months ahead.

Please pray:

For wisdom, integrity, and discernment for Israel's leaders as they make decisions affecting the nation's security and future.
For unity among the people of Israel during a season marked by political debate, ongoing security challenges, and differing opinions.
For families carrying the burdens of reserve duty, financial pressures, and the lasting effects of war, that they would experience strength, encouragement, and hope.
For the upcoming election process, that it would be conducted with integrity and that those elected would govern with wisdom and a genuine desire to serve the good of the nation.

HFI PRAYER REQUESTS

Every day brings new opportunities to serve the people of Israel in practical and meaningful ways. We are grateful for the privilege of responding wherever the Lord opens the door, trusting Him to provide the wisdom, strength, and resources needed for each new challenge.

Please pray:

That God would continue giving us wisdom to recognize where the greatest needs exist and the courage to respond faithfully.
For open doors to demonstrate God's love through practical acts of service to individuals, families, and communities throughout Israel.
For protection, unity, and wisdom for every member of the Hope for Israel team as we continue serving across multiple ministry areas.
That everything we do would honor the Lord and point people to Him.

MORAN

This month, Moran is focusing on leading the ministry through a season of significant staff transitions. One senior manager has been called to reserve duty for the next three months, while another will be taking an extended personal leave. Like many organizations throughout Israel, Hope for Israel continues adapting to the realities created by ongoing reserve service and the changing demands of daily life. The summer months also bring additional challenges as families adjust to school vacations, reduced childcare, and the many practical realities that accompany this season.

Alongside these responsibilities, Moran is planning his ministry travel for the remainder of 2026 while continuing to write the weekly Scripture commentary, produce Israel news updates, film advocacy videos, and provide biblical perspective on current events through social media.

Please continue to pray:

For wisdom, strength, and protection as Moran leads the ministry during this demanding season.
For discernment as he oversees the many areas of Hope for Israel's ministry and plans future travel.
For God's guidance and inspiration as he writes, teaches, and communicates truth about Israel and God's Word to believers around the world.
For protection over Moran, his family, and the Hope for Israel team as they continue serving during this challenging season.

We are blessed with a dedicated team of staff and board members who faithfully serve in a variety of roles, both in Israel and abroad. Together, we help lead the ministry, care for people, strengthen partnerships, and oversee projects that impact lives across Israel. THREEFOLD VISION FOR EMPOWERING THE FUTURE GENERATION OF BELIEVERS

NerYah - Believing Youth Group

Please pray:

For our youth during the summer break, that God would protect them spiritually and physically, guide their friendships, and direct the choices they make.
For the NerYah summer program, that every young person would be encouraged, challenged in their faith, and strengthened through both the teaching and the time spent together.
For wisdom as we prepare for the upcoming ministry year, and that God would bring the young people He desires to be part of NerYah.
That God would provide the right male and female coordinators to help lead the youth ministry with wisdom, compassion, and a heart for the next generation.

Believing Soldiers

Please pray:

That believing soldiers would be strengthened in their faith, encouraged in their service, and reminded that God is with them wherever they are stationed.
For those exposed to difficult situations, daily pressure, and the emotional realities of war, that God would protect their hearts and minds and bring healing where it is needed.
That the practical support, care packages, encouragement, and prayers they receive would remind them that they are not alone and that God continues to strengthen and sustain them.
That God would continue providing for every need and open opportunities for us to encourage and minister to believing soldiers throughout Israel.

Believing University Students/Discharged Soldiers

Please pray:

For students during exams and assignments, that God would give them peace, wisdom, and confidence as they pursue their studies.
For those facing disappointment or uncertainty, that they would remember their identity is found in the Lord rather than in academic success.
For students preparing to enter the workforce, that God would open the right doors and lead them to opportunities where they can serve with excellence and purpose.
For newly discharged soldiers seeking direction for the next season of life, that God would give them wisdom, patience, and clarity as they take their next steps.

MEDIA MINISTRY

As misinformation and confusion surrounding Israel continue to grow, we are increasingly seeing opportunities to help believers around the world better understand what is happening through accurate reporting and a biblical perspective. Through our articles, videos, social media, and other media projects, we seek to communicate truth with integrity, helping people look beyond headlines and understand both the realities of life in Israel and God's ongoing work in this land.

Please pray:

For wisdom, discernment, and creativity as our media team continues producing content that informs, encourages, and equips believers around the world.
For God's guidance as we respond with grace, truth, and wisdom to misinformation and growing hostility toward Israel.
That God would raise up more believers who are willing to stand for truth and become effective voices for Israel within their own communities and spheres of influence.
For the right person to join our media team and strengthen our ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms.
For spiritual protection over our media team and their families.
For the successful development and launch of our new website, that it would serve as an effective tool for ministry in the years ahead.

MINISTRY FINANCES

We remain deeply grateful for God's faithful provision. Through the generosity of His people, we have been able to continue serving believing soldiers, investing in the next generation, supporting communities affected by the war, expanding our media ministry, and responding to new opportunities as they arise.

As the ministry continues to grow, so do the opportunities and responsibilities before us. We remain committed to being faithful stewards of every resource God provides and trust Him to continue supplying everything needed for the work He has called us to do.

Please pray:

For God's continued provision to sustain both our daily ministry and long-term projects.
For wisdom as we steward every financial resource entrusted to us.
For new ministry partners who share our heart for Israel and desire to invest in the work God is doing through Hope for Israel.

COMMUNITY RESTORATION INITIATIVE

As communities affected by the war continue rebuilding, Hope for Israel remains committed to standing alongside them for the long term. Through Operation Restoration & Operation Doors of Hope, we have the privilege of helping families and communities take meaningful steps toward recovery. Together, these initiatives represent the largest restoration projects in the history of Hope for Israel and reflect our desire to bring lasting hope through practical action.

Please pray:

For God's provision as we continue moving these restoration projects forward.
For wisdom as we work alongside local leaders, families, and communities.
That those affected by the war would experience hope, healing, and encouragement physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
For protection, strength, and wisdom for everyone involved in planning, logistics, counseling, and construction.

Tours

Our tours remain an important part of Hope for Israel's ministry, providing opportunities for people to experience the land of the Bible while helping support the ministry's ongoing work. We are grateful for every individual and group that chooses to travel with us.

Please continue to pray:

For wisdom as we plan current and future tours, including those scheduled for 2027.
That upcoming Hope for Israel tours would be filled with participants eager to learn, grow, and experience Israel firsthand.
For additional individuals and groups considering traveling with us, and that the tour ministry would continue gaining momentum in the coming year.

Thank you for faithfully standing with the people of Israel through your prayers and partnership.
