Through Operation Hesed, Hope for Israel yearly helps hundreds of Israeli families to buy groceries for two major Jewish holidays, Pesach (Passover) and Rosh HaShana (the Jewish New Year).

It is almost Pesach! This is one of the most special and exciting Jewish holidays, which celebrates God’s redemption of His people from slavery in Egypt as told in the Biblical book of Exodus. Pesach is celebrated with a large and festive family meal called a Seder, which traditionally centers around the interactive retelling of the Exodus story.
