Operation Hesed — Rosh Hashanah 2024

Shalom and blessings from Jerusalem!

As we approach the sacred holidays of Rosh haShana (The Feast of Trumpets) and Pesach (Passover), times filled with joy, reflection, and festive meals, we are reminded of the importance of gathering around the holiday table with loved ones. However, for many disadvantaged families, these holidays bring anxiety instead of joy, as they struggle to provide even the most basic food for their loved ones.

Operation Hessed is our twice-a-year initiative to extend a hand of compassion to these families, ensuring they, too, can partake in the joy of these holy days. Through grocery vouchers , we enable families to purchase essential food supplies, helping them not only fill their tables but also restore their dignity during the holiday season. It’s more than just providing food—it’s offering hope, emotional support, and recognition of their unique challenges.

This year, as we prepare to celebrate Rosh haShana, we do so under the weight of a war that has brought tremendous suffering. Families have been uprooted, many have tragically lost loved ones, and others continue to endure the heartbreak of their family members being held in captivity by Hamas for over 11 months. Yet, in the midst of this pain, we remain steadfast in our faith and hold on to the One who is ultimately in control.

Due to the ongoing conflict, the needs this year are greater than ever before, making this year’s Operation Hessed our largest yet . The demands for assistance have grown significantly, and more families are relying on this vital support to ensure they can celebrate the holiday with dignity. Operation Hessed  will support  large families, single-parent households, bereaved families, and lone soldiers  who need our help.

We invite you to partner with us in this meaningful mission. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of these families, offering them hope and the chance to celebrate the holiday with dignity and joy.

  • Bless a lone soldier with $50
  • Help feed a family of 4 with $75
  • Help feed a single-parent family with $100
  • Help feed a larger family of 5 or more with $150

Your prayers and support mean the world to us as we extend God’s love to the people of Israel. Together, we can bless Israel and bring hope to those who need it most.

Thank you for your partnership.

Let’s make this Rosh haShana a time of blessing, abundance, and joy for all!

May you have a meaningful Feast of Trumpets.
