Obama Administration Pressures Congress to Hold New Sanctions on Iran: Congress is set to pass another set of crippling economic sanctions against Iran over its defiance in its nuclear program; the Obama administration is pressuring Congress to hold off for now, in efforts to give “diplomacy” a chance to work. All the while, Iran continues to enrich uranium, bringing it closer to achieving its nuclear bomb. Please pray that these new sanctions will pass quickly, and for Iran to get the message that no uranium enrichment is the only option. Israel Releases More Palestinian Prisoners: Israel has released 26 more Palestinian prisoners in the 2nd phase of its “goodwill” gesture towards the Palestinians in order to get a deal for a Palestinian State. There are two more prisoner releases to be scheduled until the end of April 2014. So far, only Israel has been asked to make “goodwill” gestures in these latest rounds of “peace” talks, while the Palestinians continue their business as usual. Please pray for Israel to stand firm in these times of intense international pressure, especially in areas of her security. Please pray that Israel’s leaders will seek the LORD alone in her struggle for survival in world that is so hostile towards her. Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as the time of the tribulation draws near; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah. Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.
