Thank You Letter – October 2026

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your generous gift and for helping us encourage young Israeli believers as they begin their mandatory military service.

In Israel, most young Jewish men and women are required to serve in the military, generally beginning at the age of 18. For young believers in Yeshua, this means leaving behind not only their families and familiar surroundings, but often the believing communities that have helped strengthen their faith. Some will find themselves serving in units where they are the only believer, without the fellowship and encouragement they have known at home.

Through our years of ministry to believing soldiers, I have seen how much it means to these young men and women to know that someone is thinking about them, praying for them, and making the effort to be there for them.

Our ministry to believing soldiers is part of Hope for Israel's threefold vision for empowering the next generation of believers. We begin through NerYah Believing Youth during their high school years, continue supporting them throughout their military service, and later walk alongside them as students and discharged soldiers entering higher education, careers, and adult life. Our desire is to strengthen their faith and build relationships that continue through these important stages.

Recently, our team met personally with young believing soldiers after their first weeks of basic training. We prepared packages containing practical items for their service, but what mattered most was the opportunity to sit with each soldier, listen to their experiences, and hear about the challenges they were facing.

There is something meaningful to me about these personal meetings. As Israelis serving our own communities, we understand the demands of military life and the importance of having a believing community standing alongside you. We wanted these young soldiers to know that they are not forgotten and that there are people who care for them, pray for them, and will continue encouraging them.

Your partnership makes this possible. You may never meet these soldiers, but your generosity helped us provide practical assistance, personal encouragement, and a reminder that they are not alone. Through your support, we can continue investing in the next generation of believers in Israel.

On behalf of our team and the young soldiers who received these packages, thank you for your prayers, generosity, and faithful partnership.

With gratitude,
