Hanukkah – the Festival of Hanukkah (Feast of Dedication) has begun!  Israel celebrated the first night of Hanukkah on Wednesday, and we continue to celebrate for 8 days in all.  It is a time of remembering God’s faithfulness to Israel after the invasion of the Greeks centuries ago, and the restoration of His holy Temple after the Greeks defiled it.  Please pray that our celebration will continue in peace and joy, and that Israel will come to see Yeshua, the light of the world!

Baby Seriously Wounded in Rock Attack – a 2-year-old suffered a serious head wound when Muslim youth threw a stone at a car entering a Jerusalem neighborhood on Thursday.  The attack was clearly a terror attack and was intended to hurt Israelis.  Unfortunately, the victim was a baby, who is in stable condition at the moment in a Jerusalem hospital.  Please pray for the complete healing of this young victim, and for a quick retrieval of the perpetrators of the attack.  Please also pray that God will protect Israelis from further attacks, especially as frustration mounts over the current round of “peace” talks.  For more, see Baby Injured in Attack

Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as the time of the tribulation draws near; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah.  Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.

Thank you for praying! Shabbat shalom…
