Prime Minister Netanyahu and US President Biden met this week on the sidelines of the UN for the first time since Netanyahu returned to power. The meeting’s delay sparked numerous rumors about the cooling of the relationship between the US and Israel.

We don’t know how the meeting went, since press were not allowed in. However, in public, the two leaders emphasized what unites them, including their 40-year-long relationship. They spoke extensively about the benefits of tri-lateral negotiations with Saudi Arabia as well as their mutual determination to prevent Iran from reaching the nuclear threshold.
