Moroccan Prime Minister publicly announced that his country will not seek diplomatic ties with Israel. Israel had hoped that the recent peace agreement with UAE would prompt other primarily Muslim countries to do the same. Morocco is home to a few thousand Jewish people, many of whom have relatives in Israel. While Israelis are allowed to travel to Morocco, there are no official diplomatic ties between the two countries. Please pray for wisdom for Israel’s leadership as they navigate new diplomatic waters in the Middle East and Northern Africa. Please also continue to pray for a breakthrough of peace in the region and for Israel to be a blessing to all nations.
