Four people were wounded in an attack yesterday in Kiryat Gat, the first of its kind in that city since this last month’s surge of violence began. The 18-year old attacker stabbed four people, a 13-year old girl, a 51-year old man, and two women aged 44 and 56. He was able to escape until police and security forces found him with the weapon a few hours later and arrested him discovering that he was from Hebron. The four victims were moderately wounded and rushed to the hospital. We ask for a return of fervent prayer for protection and healing for Israel during this time. A few days of calm has led to another uprising of brutal attacks were already a handful of innocent civilians lives have been taken. We continue to pray for complete healing for the wounded in the hospital and for the Israeli government and police forces who are constantly on alert to deal with the “lone wolf” attacks.
