Military Coup in Egypt:  The military overthrew Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi after warning him 2 days ago that he needed to get things in order, or else.  Violent riots erupted as a result between the two opposing factions, and at least 24 people have died as a result.  The increasing instability is of concern to Israel, with whom Egypt has had a peace treaty since 1979.  Please continue to pray for the turmoil in the Middle East, especially in Egypt and Syria, where civil wars are making such situations all the worse. Please also pray for God’s protection over Israel in the midst of this turmoil. For more, see Egyptian Coup

Grad Missiles Fired on Eilat:  On Thursday, two grad missiles were fired toward the resort city of Eilat in southern Israel.  A Sinai-based Jihadist group claimed responsibility for the attack and rejoiced in making the “Jewish enemies of Allah” run for shelter.  Please pray that as the situation worsens in Egypt, that Israel will not find herself fighting another front with Egyptian terrorists.  Please also pray for Israel’s intelligence gathering, that God will reveal plots to harm Israel before they happen, and frustrate the plans of Israel’s enemies.  For more, see Rockets Fired on Eilat

Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as the time of the tribulation draws near; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah.  Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.

Thank you for praying! Shabbat shalom…
