“Peace” Talks Begin in Washington DC:  Informal “peace” talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority began today in Washington.  Israel has agreed to release 104 Palestinian prisoners who are currently serving sentences in Israel for pre-1993 terror attacks.  The Palestinians have yet to agree to any of Israel’s requests for starting talks.  Please continue to pray for Israel in this troubling time; please pray for great wisdom for the Israeli negotiators, that they heed the warning of Joel 3 that great judgment will come to those who divide God’s Land.  Please also pray that Israel will not suffer as we did after the Oslo Accords were signed, which resulted in the infamous Intifadas, bringing much death and terror to the Land.  For more, see Peace Talks Resume

Priest Abducted in Syria:  Al-Qaeda linked rebels in Syria abducted an Italian priest for backing the initial uprising against Syrian dictator Bashar Assad.  A secondary civil war has begun between differing rebel groups, which is what prompted the Priest’s abduction.  This is an example of the rapid descent into chaos that Syria is undergoing, and validating concerns that Israel will somehow get dragged into this war in order to protect her border with Syria.  Please pray for the safe release of the Priest, and that those responsible will be brought to justice.  Please also pray that this civil war will come to a favorable end for the Syrian people, and for Israel’s security. For more, see Priest Abducted

Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as the time of the tribulation draws near; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah.  Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.

Thank you for praying! Have a blessed week…
