Egypt at Risk of Failed State: Egypt’s army chief has warned that there is a risk of the state completely collapsing after riots against the newly elected Islamic government. His comments come after 52 Egyptians have died as the new government attempts to quell street violence. Please pray for Egyptians to come to the knowledge of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Please also pray for Egyptian believers to be a light in the darkness of their nation. Lastly, please pray that the violence does not provide a platform for violence against Israel. Israel Wary of Syria’s Chemical Weapons: Israel is continuing to keep an eye on Syria’s chemical weapons stock with fears that they may end up in the hands of extremists. Israel is prepared to act if this appears to be the case. Please pray for Israel’s continued safety in this time of regional instability. Please also pray for those in Syria to know His peace and to hold onto the Rock of Ages during this turmoil. Additionally, please pray for wisdom to be given to Israel’s leaders as they make crucial choices for Israel. For more, see Syria Chemical Weapons

Jewish Teen Stabbed in West Bank: A Jewish teenager was stabbed while waiting at a bus junction in the West Bank. It is suspected that the stabbing was an act of terrorism. Earlier in the week, 2 terrorists were caught with knives and explosive devices at the same junction. Please pray for the safety of Israel’s citizens and the innocent Palestinians. Please also pray that the plans of the enemy would continue to be thwarted and those living in bondage to him would be released. Lastly, please pray for Israel’s restoration, that it would become a place of peace and not strife. For more, see Teenager Stabbed

Negotiations Continue for Israeli Coalition: Negotiations are continuing for the formation of a coalition that will represent Israel in the government. This is a very complicated process with a lot of bargaining and maneuvering for positions. Please pray that Netanyahu and those making coalition decisions will do what is right for Israel rather than only seeking interests in the process. Please also pray that those with integrity and justice would be given a place in the coalition and that all such decisions would be made in an honest way. Lastly, please pray for Israel’s next government to have wisdom in this crucial period. For more, see Bargaining for Next Coalition

Please continue to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel as Israel is facing uncertain times; please pray we will be a great source of blessing to all Israel and that through our witness, many in Israel will come to know their Messiah.  Please pray for strength, courage, gentleness, and boldness in our witness to our neighbors who do not yet know Yeshua.

Thank you for praying and standing with Israel! Shevuah Tov…
