Israel’s Knesset (Parliament) is in crisis. Just yesterday, another Member of Knesset (MK) resigned from the coalition, leaving the Opposition with a majority. MK Ghaida Rinawie Zoabi, from the left-wing Meretz party, sent a letter to Prime Minister Bennett and Foreign Minister Lapid saying that she no longer saw herself as part of the coalition. She claims that the coalition has not done enough for the Arab minority in Israel, as they had promised they would do. This means that Israel could be heading for elections in the fall. Please pray for the instability in the current government. Please pray for wisdom for Israeli officials as they navigate these turbulent waters. Lastly, please pray that Israel’s government will do what it needs to so that all citizens are fairly treated.
